Feta appetizer was piping hot and enough for 3 to 4 people. The feta was not our first choice, but they were out of calamari. Entrees might have gotten more stars if they were hot. Fries were semi hot, chicken in his sandwich and my haddock were both room temp at best. The staff addressed the issue, which we appreciated, but it made the meal a disappointment.

Have been a long time customer of the Roost. Last few times I've questioned should I keep coming. Tonight was the final time. Ordered the coconut shrimp for appetizer as in the past and there was no coconut and coating was almost burnt. Waitress insisted there was coconut in the batter. Ordered quinoa burger and the avocado was black on all three pieces. When waitress came back my friend was finished with their dinner. I told her I would need a box to go with fresh avocado as by now my burger was cold. No apology! Got box to go and I received slivers for my avocado not the thick like the black slices were. Not impressed with the kitchen or customer service. Monthly customer since they opened, even during COVIDVegetarian options: One item on menu and it is now fried!!!! Not cool

Exceptional service!!I finished up work and went out to get a drink today, I decided upon Roost. I love Pointe Place, I have never been to Roost, but my family loves it. So I walked in, sat down at the bar to grab a drink. Bartender Thomas made me a mean, very delicious paloma, it was so good, I got a margarita afterwards. He added his own touch and those were I’d say top tier, some of the best cocktails I have ever had. Possibly the best. The staff is exceptional, highly communicative, and tentative. They had a lot of care for the work being provided. Thank you Roost, and Thomas. I can’t wait to bring my other half here on a date.

Nobody in the restaurant when we went in, slow af service, waitress who didn’t know anything about the menu. Have the chef come out if you don’t what you’re doing. Brought out drinks we didn’t ask for. Took almost 10 mins for drinks, sat for almost 15mins after we finished. Pay attention! You’re the service industry. Best thing on the plate was the fries. Half the things we ordered they were out of. Everything just so basic and bland, no seasoning whatsoever. Upcharge of a dollar a small tiny Caesar salad when i couldn’t eat the sides due to a gluten allergy, I DIDNT GET ANY SIDES, because you don’t cater to gluten free. Male waiter couldn’t even to bother to tuck his way too small tee-shirt in hair all disheveled looked extremely sloppy. Extremely poor experience will not be back.Dietary restrictions: Nothing for gluten free except salad. 2 dishes other wise. Not fruit options

Outstanding experience! Pleasant atmosphere, excellent service by Michelle. The Vodka Caramel Mule was AMAZING - I would return just to have another one of those. The haddock was delicious and their roasted potatoes were SO good....nice and crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Really enjoyed our meal.

Have been going here for years.Portions are almost half what they were and price more. Spreading 5 scallops out on plate and charging 28 bucks is crazy. I really want to keep coming because it’s local and the servers are great - but prices are too much and quality is declining. Hope it turns around.

We took our grandchildren to eat here and were so impressed by the quality of all the food for both the adults and the kids. The food here is made from scratch and prepared perfectly. I can’t wait to come back.Service and ambience was great too.Kid-friendliness: When the kids clean their plates you know its good food made right.

Staff lied and said food was almost ready when I arrived. I watched them print the ticket and bring it into the kitchen. I arrived 5 minutes after the posted time and it was not busy at all. Waited for another 15 minutes. Just be honest next

I have been to the Roost before and enjoyed it. I brought some friends who have never been there before . We were all very disappointed. My short rib dinner was so salty I couldn't eat it, my husband scallops were just ok. Our friends meal was the same as ours. It took forever to get our salads and our meals. I will not be back in a hurry. Please let me know when things improve.

Not a bad meal, just not memorable. Went to celebrate our anniversary and was hoping for a little more. Table next to the window was cold and service a little slow. Appetizers were good but main course didn't seem fresh. Server said the lobster was frozen and not fresh. Too bad because I was hoping for better. Overall, we were a little disappointed and probably will not return.
