Silver Fountain Inn & Tea Parlor

Wonderful food and excellent service! We totally enjoyed our time at the lovely and relaxing Tea Parlor and cannot wait to return.

Such an enjoyable place for tea. Plus an extraordinary list of teas to choose from. Everything was very tasty and the hostess was a lot of fun. The Apple spice scone was especially good. And I loved the savory tier. Came close to 5 stars on everything but just not quite there on the soup and the dessert tier- very, very close, but 4 stars on those

My daughter and I enjoyed a wonderful tea here. They were so accommodating. We were running late and called to let them know. As we were their last seating, I thought perhaps they'd ask us to reschedule but they allowed us to arrive late and treated us like royalty! The food was different from a typical tea, but very tasty (of course, they had the classic cucumber sandwich which was delicious). We'll be going back!

Absolutely lovely. We took our daughter to her first afternoon tea and it was truly a special experience. We've stayed the night before for my birthday and that was when we knew we wanted to go back with our daughter for tea. Everything about this place is wonderful.

Quality of food has declined since my last visit to the Silver Fountain... The cucumber tea sandwich was very good, the spring roll was nice, and the chicken roll up was not good. In addition to the chicken salad spices tasting bitter, the tortilla roll up was too much bread for the small amount of chicken inside — a tea sandwich on light bread would have seemed more tea-like. The scones with lemon clotted cream were excellent. However the much-anticipated treats were not as anticipated — pretty but the flavors ranged from bland to odd. Ending on positive notes: Our tea selections were excellent, as was the service!

Silver Fountain Inn was exceptional, truly unique! The beds were incredibly comfortable; our room was beautifully decorated; the breakfast, tea, and scone selection were unmatched, and the staff was incredibly kind. I rarely leave reviews, but we have not stopped talking about this stay. We cannot wait to return.

Service was excellent in a beautiful Victorian house. Food was poor. Sandwiches were large-not like a typical, dainty tea sandwich. And, hot dogs at a tea-I don't think so. The zucchini tarts were tasteless and dry. Best item was the scone.

Tgis was a besutiful place. I was taking my future daughter-in- law out to celebrate her engagement to my son. Also to hear about her wedding plans and get to know her a bit better. We sat on the patio on a warm Saturday afternoon. The service was not what I expected from such an elegant place. The young lady was friendly enough but obviously inexperienced and not taught how to serve. The scone and tea were excellent. The rest was decent and plenty. We had the Duchess. We gad a lovely chat and were not rushed.

Always an excellent experience. We loved our waitress...very young and new. Her sweetness just added more awesome to the afternoon.
