Quality of food has declined since my last visit to the Silver Fountain... The cucumber tea sandwich was very good, the spring roll was nice, and the chicken roll up was not good. In addition to the chicken salad spices tasting bitter, the tortilla roll up was too much bread for the small amount of chicken inside — a tea sandwich on light bread would have seemed more tea-like. Silver Fountain Inn was exceptional, truly unique! The beds were incredibly comfortable; our room was beautifully decorated; the breakfast, tea, and scone selection were unmatched, and the staff was incredibly kind. I rarely leave reviews, but we have not stopped talking about this stay. We cannot wait to return.
Tgis was a besutiful place. I was taking my future daughter-in- law out to celebrate her engagement to my son. Also to hear about her wedding plans and get to know her a bit better. We sat on the patio on a warm Saturday afternoon. The service was not what I expected from such an elegant place.
