Sonny's use to be my favorite little hole in the wall. I think the food has gotten better but the prices are very high. what I love most is that You can always count on a great mocktail selection with the best ingredients! cheers!

We’ve tried Sonny’s a few times now for both dinner and drinks and we always have a pleasant experience here. So far, we’ve really enjoyed any and all food we’ve ordered between apps and dinner, absolutely no complaints there. They have a ton of fun and unique drinks that are always delicious and easy to sip. It can get a little loud when they’re busy (which is quite often during dinner time) but the atmosphere is perfectly moody and somewhat hipster feeling which we really enjoy. Sonny’s is one of our go to’s if we’re looking for some good drinks and good American food.

This place sucks! When the waitress came over to take our order she never smiled or told us her name. It was like we were an inconvenience. She never asked us what we would like to drink. After waiting more than 15 minutes we left and told them to cancel our order. We went to La Festa instead and had much better food and service.

I used Sonny's catering for my wedding and could not recommend them enough. Tyler and his team were very professional and helpful. Our guest were very pleased with their meal (short rib/chicken confit, potato, salad) and the passed apps were delicious! Sonny's also handled our bar services and once again was easily and professionally maintained through the night. Could not recommend Sonny's enough - thank you!

I ordered the Kale salad with Salmon for take out. It was awful. Very very poor quality leaves in the salad. 30-50% of the leaves were poor to inedible quality. This was not a fresh salad. The salmon was minimally seasoned and not memorable. I used to love to go to Sonny's. Not anymore.

I live 2 hours from Sonny's Tavern and everytime I come up to Dover I make it a point to get brunch here on the weekend. 10/10 every time. I usually go for Sonny's breakfast accompanied by a Cowboy Coffee. Eggs always cooked perfect, home fries are the best I've found in a long time, huge fan of sausage patties and to top it off a grilled English. As for the Cowboy Coffee well that is my favorite part of breakfast. Absolutely delicious!
Generally pretty solid food and cocktails. Prices have risen more dramatically than expected for inflation, and they have started charging a kitchen service fee of 3-4% that isn't disclosed until you get your bill, and you would have ask them to redo your bill and remove it if you wanted it

I haven't been here in a long time but I really liked their live music, food, and interesting + delish cocktails I remember the time I was there with my friend and they were playing the old Addams Family (1964 TV series) on silent above the bar. Cool + artsy place. I always had a good time

Brunch - horrible. "We don't have decaf", "sure, I'll bring you a pitcher of water. In 15 minutes.". "no, we don't have wheat toast, just white." Sorry you and your friend have to wait for your food till long after the others were served. Like dry English muffin with no butter? ok, we have it. Oh, we add 3.5% kitchen service charge to your bill. But, we'll tell you about that when we bring the bill to you. Never again. Fagheddaboutit.

I stopped in Sonny's to grab drinks with an old friend. The food was great, and the servers were very attentive. We probably stayed a lot longer than we should have, but they didn't seem to mind. The restaurant is very comfortable, and the variety and creativity in the food and drinks does not go unnoticed. Sonny's offered an industry night discount which made the meal very affordable. I would strongly recommend visiting, they won't disappoint!

Food and drinks are good, and staff is always friendly. Have been coming here for a few years intermittently. Disappointing how the prices keep seeming to be going up; was surprised by how you now get charged a “kitchen service fee” for just ordering food, 3.5%, which is sneaky, cheap, and unfortunate.
