Simply incredible! Braised duck confit appetizer was mind-blowing from the first bite to the last, and let me know I was in for a treat with this meal.
Braised Wild Boar was made with house made pasta, and the balance and amount of boat to pasta was spot on, with just a hint of heat that brought it to another level.
Chocolate Profiterole had a beautifully creamy filling and all of the flavors melded together well.
Also had a few drinks, and the Fall Carrot Cake to go. Every bite and sip of this meal was spectacular and I can't wait to go back and try more, especially interested in the house made ice cream!

What can I say about Stalk. I don't remember having a bad meal here ever. I live in Dover and have eaten here at least a dozen times since they've opened; this is where you want to go for a date night! The staff are always cheerful and accommodating and timely. The food is impeccable. The cocktails hit the spot. With my husband had the tuna tartare, shredded beet salad, vegan dumplings and the wild boar entrees last night and they were all amazing.

Excellent food preparation, so many enticing menu options for carnivores and vegetarians alike that we’ll definitely return for another visit. The half-chicken was unbelievably juicy, so perfectly cooked, that I cherished every delectable bite. Wife’s vegetarian entree served in a spectacular miso base which we each loved. Deconstructed presentation of the carrot cake dessert (frosted only between cake layers) made for a pleasantly less-sweet conclusion to this wonderful meal. Relative weak spot was the overcrowded, less-comfortable seating which the wait staff navigated expertly.

Our friends took us to Stalk for our first visit last night, and we were thoroughly impressed. The atmosphere was lively yet calm—perfect for easy conversation without shouting. Our server, Gabriel, was incredibly attentive and accommodating. The drink selection was excellent, and I loved my pomegranate mocktail. The food was truly outstanding in both presentation and flavor. We shared the Heirloom Tomato Salad, featuring tomatoes from the chef’s own garden, and I devoured the Crispy Skin Salmon. We only regret not saving room for dessert—the menu looked amazing.

EVERYTHING was amazing! Our waiter was Gabe and he was very attentive and kind. Nicole and her kitchen put a lot of thought into each dish we received. And Kelly is putting out the BEST dessert as always :) It was truly a special way to spend my birthday!

My friend and I visited Stalk on Friday night. The ambiance, service, and cocktails were very very good. However, we felt the food was underwhelming. The chicken bun was ok, but the portobello was tough and chewy. She ended up using a knife and fork to eat it. The swordfish was dry and salty — so disappointing! It looked beautiful, but ate like a very dry fish. My friend’s falafel was also so dry. It was in desperate need of moisture in that mixture. It really was like eating sand. But again, looked stunning on the plate. Stalk gets a high mark for plating, but then, unfortunately, reality sets in. We woukd not return.

Definitely a hidden gem! Unassuming on the outside, but such a culinary experience on the inside. I wanted to order the whole menu, it was all so unique! My favorites were the ceviche, the chair siu pork, and the lemon chiffon cake (you _cannot_ skip dessert here). The service was great- they recommended dishes that turned out to be amazing. Also the cocktails were perfectly balanced and very tasty, I would come back here again!

What a delightful dinning experience. Everything about this place was perfect. Their reservation system is super simple and easy to use. A small, inviting restaurant with a staff that truly cares about the entire experience. Our waiter Gabriel was a joy and made the whole dinner fantastic. Drinks were creative and tasty. The appetizers, dinner and even dessert were all a journey of creative flavors. Trust me when I say these dishes were put together for a specific flavor experience, even if you haven't heard of an ingredient but are curious, just order it. You will not be disappointed.

Unbelievable food, cocktails and service. Went there for my birthday dinner and it was an unforgettable experience. Every dish was out of the world - especially the halibut entrée and the grilled peach and lobster appetiser. Despite limited options for vegetarians, every veg/vegan item in the menu was also very good. Highly recommend if in Dover!

This is the best restaurant in Dover, and it’s not close. If there were more restaurants like Stalk, the world would be a better place.
