Amazing food, beautiful space, great service. We loved every single dish we had! The char sui pork was a crowd favorite. We got two desserts too and both were delicious. Some great wine options as well!
My friend and I visited Stalk on Friday night. The ambiance, service, and cocktails were very very good. However, we felt the food was underwhelming. The chicken bun was ok, but the portobello was tough and chewy. She ended up using a knife and fork to eat it. The swordfish was dry and salty — so disappointing! It looked beautiful, but ate like a very dry fish. My friend’s falafel was also so dry. It was in desperate need of moisture in that mixture. It really was like eating...
Definitely a hidden gem! Unassuming on the outside, but such a culinary experience on the inside. I wanted to order the whole menu, it was all so unique! My favorites were the ceviche, the chair siu pork, and the lemon chiffon cake (you _cannot_ skip dessert here). The service was great- they recommended dishes that turned out to be amazing. Also the cocktails were perfectly balanced and very tasty, I would come back here again!
