Five stars might be generous, but I love the vibe of this place. If you liked Week's but thought it could use some fresh paint and a couple of improvements, that's what this is. Huge portions, affordable, really nice staff.

We went to The Nook for the first time today and it was great! The food was wonderful but the staff was perhaps even better. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, and it was a very welcoming atmosphere, even with two (often loud) toddlers. I was very impressed!

Love the Nook, the staff there are so friendly you become family. Food is amazing. Check them out you won't be sorry.
We showed up and sat down with a family of 4 plus a high chair. Waitress arrived and before saying anything saw the toddler sipping from an open coffee creamer and very loudly sneered "That's GROSS" before addressing us and taking our order. We gave her the benefit of the doubt but she continued to have an incredibly rude tone when delivering our drinks, and could be heard going "ugh Jesus cheist...mumble mumble" on her way to another table she seemed irritated with. Maybe she was just having a bad day but she was rude and aggressive from the start. We left paying for just our drinks and skipped food because it was not worth the attitude.
I had a breakfast Ruben, it was very tasty, also a breakfast mimosa/ tart cranberry 😋. Service was quick and staff very personable. Great experience.

Best breakfast around and the server was excellent.
Cozy restaurant in Downtown Dover. The food was delicious and came out at just the right temperature. The portions are huge, and the service was very attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. I will definitely eat here again.

first experience here and it was a fabulous one. The food is home-cooked and delicious. Angela, our waitress was one of the best waitresses I ever had. She was friendly, fast, always checking up on us to see if we needed anything and she had such a positive attitude. It was so refreshing to be around a waitress that didn't seem stressed. The service and the food here are amazing. Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a good breakfast/lunch spot. We will definitely be back
