Ordered the steak tips with rice and fries. And a side of the cheesy bread. Cheesy bread was the only good thing about it. Ordered my steak medium well, cost me $30 just for the steak. Got very rare steak, toughest steak ive ever eaten, inedible. A spoonful of rice. And the fries were decent. Wont be going back.

I order take out from you online all the time for the Dover location. Walked there tonight to pick up my order and find out my food was made in Manchester. The staff looked at me like I had 5 heads and did nothing to help me out. Sure probably my fault but your app sucks! That shouldn’t happen, and the staff should have made it right by remaking my $2 Mac and cheese without issue. Now I’m pissed and hungry. Probably won’t be back. I’m disappointed in the lack of awareness from your staff to accommodate the error. Check #161 On toast. I tried calling the Manchester location twice to see if I could get my money back and no one picked up the phone

If you want to order a lager that should taste crisp and malty but tastes fruity then please come here. Tap lines are consistently re-used between beers that are nowhere related on the flavor profile and makes you question the attention to cleanliness by management.
Staff are always awesome though.
Try the House specials.

This restaurant is awful. I was charged $13.25 each for 2 pours of Modestman beer. The price was conveniently not on the menu but the waiter even told be the prices for a 10oz. pour was ridiculous. Secondly the prices are way too expensive compared to other compatible restaurants such as The Farm and Shanty which are much better. For a Saturday night prime dinner time there were many empty tables and now I know why. Speaking to other people o know they said similar complaints. If this places closed down it wouldn’t be heartbreak. Consider other nearby options before settling on Thirsty Moose Dover.

Best chicken tenders I have EVER had anywhere. Fresh hand breaded and cooked perfectly.
Baha fish tacos were good!!...but not great
Waffle fries were cold. Asked 2 waitstaff for napkins, got my own from another table. Waitstaff seemed more interested in socializing with each other. Losing interest in this restaurant.
Thirsty Moose is a great place for singles to meet, couples to enjoy a meal out , and Families with children to be comfortable . It is a restaurant with plenty of seating and adjustability for any size party. We have had our NH Family of 15 well accommodated there. It is a noisy gregarious place, with great waitstaff and absolutely consistent delicious, well prepared and presented food. I very much appreciate that they are willing to do add on’s and easy substitutions like trading out cheeses on a salad. This is because they really want you to enjoy what you choose to eat! I swear by their pulled pork sliders, fries, and their Cobb salad and strawberry lemonade which is made in house and perfect sweetness! (The raspberry lemonade is not made in house, btw). They use quality ingredients that make their food very tasty. The staff at the Washington Street Dover location is exceptional. Nothing phases them, they remain cheerful and quick to get you what you need even when it is packed. Taylor is a fave waitstaff person; cheerful and amiable and quick! The owners of this restaurant take seriously that people want a great time eating out and they deliver that through their team there! There are plenty of flat screen TV’s for any sport’s lovers out there!
The Bar Scene there looks energetic!
Visiting from out of town with 2 kids, stopped for lunch after the children's museum. Chicken tenders say they are hand breaded, which they are clearly frozen, were overcooked and dry. Burger was asked to be cooked medium rare and it was a hockey puck- dry as a bone. Waitress never returned to the table to ask how our food was or if we needed anything. When the overcooked burger was brought to her attention she asked if we would like a "discount" when the check came an "employee discount 50%" was given off the burger. Terrible business practices. Will never return to this location or Portsmouth.
Pretty good all around.
