Cool spot in Enfield! Service was prompt, food came out really quickly.I will say that the chicken breast on the grilled chicken sandwich had a pretty bad texture (maybe frozen and thawed more than once, maybe just overcooked, I don’t know), but the flavors were yummy. Everything else was pretty good too.

Kitchen 56 has been our go-to restaurant in Enfield. We have enjoyed almost every menu item at this point. They also have great rotating specials. Their pricing on drinks and food seem very fair. The 56 service has been very pleasant, and they seem to work as a team. I look forward to returning.

Parked for the Rail Trail in Enfield and walked along Mascoma Lake to town, where to our delight, we discovered this gem of a restaurant, Kitchen 56. Food was delicious and affordable – we had falafel gyros with crispy brussels sprouts and sweet potato fries; staff was warm and friendly; and the bartender made us a lovely zero proof cocktail with soda, bitters, and lavender syrup. Then we walked the trail back to our car - perfect evening!* A big sale - they have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options!

A very busy night.Everything was perfect , friendly staff, great food and amazing lemon cheesecake
Came in and understood that they were busy stood there waiting for someone to see us for over 10 mins as we sat we were not greeted by our waiter for almost 15 mins and another 15-20 mins before we received our drink and at that point everyone was yelling and getting louder in such a small room to the point you couldn’t hear the person in-front of you I understand that there nothing someone can do in that situation but along the side we told our server we wouldn’t be ordering food and will only be getting the drinks so we could just get the heck out of there. she helped everyone else as my husband tried to wave her down for almost 30 mins to get the check she would look at him and then turn around and walk away and we still never received the check we ending up throwing more than enough onto the table and leaving.I’ve never had an experience like this in my entire life and hope that I never do I really wish they would give a zero rating but they don’t.

The food was just awful. And, when you don't eat your meal and complain, you still have to pay. No apologies, or can I offer you a complimentary dessert. Nope. Been here before, from Vermont, the food was okay. The only reason why I won't come back again is the poor tasting food.

This place was amazing. One of those locations hidden off the main road. Probably one of the best restaurant experiences in my life. The BBQ hamburger was absolutely amazing cooked to perfection and my wife had the steak gyro. The steak was so tender and the sandwich was delicious. The music was just loud enough but not too loud that let us talk without yelling at each other. The service could not have been any better. Thank you and we will be back. Told friends on Facebook as well.

The bar has a great local feel and the food is delicious. The angry burger was fantastic. My wife has celiac disease and she was able to eat her own wings and French fries! She hasn’t had chicken wings in years. We highly recommend this place!Dietary restrictions: They have their own dedicated gluten free fryer. They have GF French fries, hot wings, and Brussel sprouts!

The food, service and atmosphere are great. I only wish the menu was a little more extensive. A filet mignon, stuffed shrimp, chicken teriyaki dishes on the menu would be great. Also, I wish the server would mention the specials. Excellent restaurant. The bar is very slow for table service, the wait for a drink is like 15 or 20 minutes.
