Great neighborhood brewery with such a fun, welcoming atmosphere. And of course, the BEST beer around. 10/10 would recommend.

Czar's Brewery in Exeter, NH for a flight of some great crisp dark traditional offerings & a pint of something hazy. It's been over a year or so since I have made my way here, but I'm always happy to come back. Exeter has become a great brewery hub with four different breweries, each with their own distinct styles. A Russian themed brewery, Czar has some delicious ales & lagers with maybe two IPAs on tap at once if that. Definitely carving out a nice niche for themselves with a good following that allowed them to open up a second taproom in Dover, NH which I have yet to visit. This time around I grabbed a nice variety of four different styles. 🍻🍺
I started off with a flight of three including HE AIN'T HEVY Strong Ale, OLD BROWN SALLY Brown Ale & the WALK ON THE MILD SIDE Mild. All three were good, but the one I enjoyed most was the HE AIN'T HEVY Strong Ale, which was delicious & a great example of the style. I then scooped a pint of the THUNDERSTRUCK IPA which was excellent for 5.6% especially since I'm a big fan of doubles over single IPAs, but this one checked all the boxes regardless. 🍻💪✌
The taproom is small, but has plenty of seating options including bar, tables & hightops. I'm not positive about outside seating during the warm weather months. The staff here has always been extremely friendly & informative, I can imagine this has helped with bringing in a lot of customers who eventually become regulars I'm sure. There was 17 different beers on tap when I went & plenty of beer to go if you were looking to take some cans home. Fun spot that I highly recommend if you're looking for something other than IPAs all the time like I am. I know I'll be back in another year or so, may they continue to succeed until then! 🍻🍻🔥☘🙏

A chill neighborhood brewpub with a nice assortment of house brews. The bartenders were friendly and the selection was a creative, diverse break from the IPA hops bonanza I usually trend toward.

We liked it here! Stopped in for drinks on the way to dinner. Played a couple of games from their excellent game library. Enjoyed the local atmosphere of the place. The Noble Names scattered throughout are comical. You need a key for the bathroom which is across the hall and isn't very clean.

Best casual bar in Exeter. We’ve been here multiple times for drinks/apps/dinner and consistently solid. Great outside seating.
Terrible experience! Beer tasted awful and was warm. Waited 40min for our food. Ordered a Rueben and some Mac&Cheese, both were disappointing.

My friend and I were in the Portsmouth area and then decided to explore the nearby town of Exeter. We heard an incredible recommendation about the Czar's Brewery. Wow, it was an amazing experience. The staff were all welcoming and added to the chill atmosphere! Definitely check it out when you are in the area!

Excellent small brew pub. Food and beer choices are plentiful and very good. Staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and hard working. Although we didn't play any of the many, many board games they offer, it is a fun place.
