When I was a kid, my grandfather always made homemade donuts. The bar for donuts was set there. Donut Love exceeds that bar. My favorite are the coconut.

Maybe there's a better selection first thing in the morning but last three times I've got around lunch time and there's only 2 flavors and 1 is plain. Not really worth going for me if there is no selection.

The staff is so friendly and donuts are great!

Beautiful new take on the coffee shop! The donuts are big, delicious, and have a homemade taste that you just can’t get at DD. The shop itself is lovely and bright, with a lightly funky vibe. We didn’t get coffee on our trip but the aromas was amazing, with many different roasts to choose from. The servers were kind, attentive, and happy to be here. We will definitely return.

The donuts are huge and filling. Awesome that they have gluten-free and vegan options. They are greasy/oily and have to take away at least one star for that. The people are awesome and helpful and patient.

Potato donuts are truly something else! The donuts were all delicious, however, the vanilla and apple were probably my favorite of the ones I tried. Highly recommend stopping by Donut Love!

Nifty spot. Clean and spacious. Donuts were fresh and delicious. Wish they also made some of the airy fluffy type. Loved that they had Gluten free options.

Honestly it was amazing. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because its expensive

This place is driving us nuts!! We have looked on the website before we go to our donut love and it will say closes at 8 pm. We get there and there is a piece of paper over the sign that says the hours but they are totally different than what it says online. This has happened soooo many times!!! The donuts are pretty good though but the hours suck.

Very popular! It is not uncommon to see people waiting outside to get in. Very nice inside. There are seats to sit inside, but, I don't know if the management is allowing it.Friendly service. I had a chocolate ? glazed doughnut ? with a regular coffee ☕. Both were good! I used a e-gift certificate without any issues. I had it set up to where I could use my phone ? number.I encountered friendly customers. A woman♀️ with a baby stroller held the door ? open for me. As I exited she said "I'm not rushing you. I'm just being friendly.". Her husband replied " Are you going to hold the door ? open all day ??". Prepare for sticker shock, but, hand crafted diet busting potato doughnuts, downtown Exeter and friendly service are worth it!Update: Sunday morning ?, January 2021; Indoor dining allowed. Signage on tables for 6-ft social distancing. Bathroom available and and it is kept in good shape. I had the raspberry frosted donut with my coffee, which was just made fresh from the pot, and I had a good time relaxing reading my paper near the window seats. Service is still good and friendly. Tables are cleaned after customers leave.

Unique and exceptional donuts, albeit a little pricey! Be sure to stop by early in the morning because they sell out fast.

On an afternoon trip to Exeter, I stopped by Donut Love for a donut to take home. It was on a day when the shop was open until 8:00 PM. The original mixer for the donut batter was displayed in the front window along with the original fryer. Both were quite small for what one would expect for commercial bakery or donut shop equipment. Inside, I looked over all the donuts. Donut Love goes beyond everyday donut varieties with such Vanilla Glazed, Maple Bacon, Double Chocolate Frosted, and seasonal donuts. They also make some gluten-free donuts. I like to see menu items for our gluten-free friends. Their diets are restricted enough without having to forego a donut now and then. There were two seasonal treats of interest: Peppermint which was a regular donut with peppermint-flavored frosting and Peppermint Patty which was a chocolate donut with peppermint-flavored frosting. I chose the Peppermint Patty. It was $3.21. With 9% NH Meals Tax, the total was $3.50. Although that sounds expensive, the donuts are at least 30% larger than regular donuts; and, they’re quite different. The batter has mashed Maine potato mixed into the batter. The shop had souvenirs, such as thermal coffee mugs, soy candles, caps, and T-shirts for sale on a hanging rack. The two gals running the place were friendly and very nice. I’d visited the North Hampton location before, so I knew what to expect. At home, I found that the donut was heavy and had a dense texture from the mashed potato. The frosting had a light, delicate peppermint taste. It wasn’t overpowering at all. I really liked it. I rate my experience at Donut Love at 4.50, my highest rating for a fast food place.
