I think this Mixed Greens Salad might be my very favorite salad anywhere! I ate literally every bite. My husband's fish and chips were tasty and perfectly crisp. Thank you, Chef and team!

My wife and I enjoyed two dinners at Epoch this past weekend, one by ourselves on the delightful outdoor terrace, and one as part of a reunion group. They were both exceptional. Great menu selections and terrific food and service. Due to dietary restrictions they had to make me something special and did it beautifully. Epoch (and the Exeter Inn that it is located in) has a wonderful ambiance and just the right level of sophistication - not too fancy/expensive, not too ""beer joint."" Highly recommended.
Three of us went on Saturday night for a birthday dinner. Except for one other party, restaurant was empty; perhaps 5 or 6 people at the bar. We all ordered different entrees. We all found our food to be bland & not very flavorful. (I resorted to adding salt, which I never do) We all felt a bit disappointed.

Sat for 20 minutes at the bar high top before bartender came over. Had to go up to the bar to ask for a second drink. Service is awful, food is mediocre. Will not be coming back.

Do not eat here. We had an issue with scallops we believed to be undercooked. After informing the server, instead of taking the plate away immediately , the uneaten food was left sitting on the table. Finally after being offered desserts to compensate we were given a check and charged 50% for the dinner we did not eat.
Wonderful experience. Great location. An easy walk to the town with lots of walking trails and wonderful restaurants. A good continental breakfast😋.
Spent Labor Day weekend at the Exeter Inn. The staff is lovely. The interior is beautiful. I loved the central staircase. Our room was large, comfortable and immaculate. The location is perfect. You can easily walk to town. We had a wonderful stay. Highly recommended
At Sunday brunch, we shared the generous serving of Eggs Benedict, while sitting on the patio in beautiful weather. The food and service were great. It was a very pleasant meal!
Very clean, great staff, location and area. Room was excellent. Highly recommend.
We had a great time ! Food was delicious and was delivered quick. Waiter was enthusiastic and took good care of us.

Had a nice stay while having some renovations done at home. Hotel was well booked but very quiet. Nice bar, food was good and location in Exeter is convenient, walkable to downtown, and very scenic. Understand it's a very old building, but it was clean and well kept.
We had the crab cakes that were amazing and I had the clam chowder . The clam chowder was huge and one of the best I’ve ever had. The flank steak was very good . Atmosphere was relaxing.

Wonderful dining experience. Sat at a high top in the bar area. Sadie and Katie were working and both were fantastic.
Had seen mixed reviews about the food, but our meals were delicious and cooked perfectly to order. Will definitely return!
We had a very enjoyable outing at Epoch last night. Our party of four booked for 6 pm. The bar and dining room were pretty busy when we arrived and throughout the evening. Our knowledgeable and affable server Jess took great care of us. We couldn't help but notice a couple of large groups that might normally put pressure on the dining room. We observed the staff helping each other out to share in bringing the service levels up to meet the demand. We were also impressed to see management rolling up its sleeves. Food and beverages were excellent. Knowing the restaurant's reputation for its salmon, all four of us ordered the savory dish. Epoch did not disappoint. We often find Epoch a great spot for Sunday brunch, but it should also be considered a hot spot for dinner.
thanks for being so helpful and friendly
