I enjoyed a lovely evening at Epoch last night. I just love this place every time we go. I had the steak and it was cooked to perfection. The sauce was the perfect complement to the steak potatoes and broccolini. I would have liked a few more options on the menu. The cocktails were great. The server, Sean recommended a perfect wine pairing with my steak. Sean was an excellent server, personable, professional and very attentive. We will definitely be going back!

Great night out! Service was impeccable, food was very tasty. Crab cake appetizer was delicious. Large lumps of crab, very little filler. Salmon was cooked perfectly, risotto was a little salty but very good. Drinks were fabulous! Our server was the best!

The inn was very nice and the staff was super friendly, patient, and accommodating. The receptionist went above and beyond for me (thank you so much!). The room was clean and orderly upon arrival. The hotel is old but well maintained. The Epoch Gastropub is downstairs inside the Inn. It is very nice, the service is excellent and the food is wonderful! The only complaint I would have is the menu prices are obscene. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and loved the staff.

Very nice restaurant. I'd go back there again. Love the ambience and the cocktails. They're unique. Menu could use some more eclectic options but it's still a great place.

It was our first time at Epoch, and our meal was out of this world. Our server, Sean, was friendly and funny and added to our experience perfectly! He was professional and new one to check in. the food was remarkable. my partner had the steak and it waterd in her mouth. I tired the Burger Bowl burger at SEANs suggestion and it was wonderful!!!!

I had a great experience at Epoch last night. The ambiance was Very cozy. I love the big round booths. Our server, Sean was very professional and personable. He was attentive to our table while helping at least three other tables of guests. I enjoyed the smash burger with fries. The fries were salty, just the way I like them. Sean recommended a Sangria cocktail and it was terrific! I'll definitely be going back again soon.

Great food and presentation! Server said there was a change in staff in the kitchen last week - been here before and saw a huge change in quality! Major improvement! Service was excellent as well. Nice cozy ambience, love the booths.

Oof. Night and day from a year ago. The food is NOT GOOD. Some things are literally inedible. Not sure what happened here...

The steak came with slimy mushrooms that i requested i didnt want. It seemed as tho it was previously froze or not fresh. I was definitely not impressed with for the ridiculous price. The 4 carrots it did come with were good. Included no side. Desserts were good tho not homemade. Salads i was told were ok. Burgers were good. Drinks, service and atmosphere were superb. Definitely will not return unless im going to the bar for drinks.

Excellent food good presentation, portion size ok no leftovers. A bit pricey. Service ok, not a place to go if you are in a hurry. Not crowded but fairly noisey for the number of people there. Appreciated that the seated tables were well separated.

My wife and I, plus another couple, enjoyed a great meal at Epoch. The four (4) of us booked the Dine and Stay package for the night BEFORE New Year's Eve. The service was prompt and our meals (fresh haddock) were excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. We will definitely be going back.

Terrible experience.. a very long wait, extremely expensive brunch. They forgot the eggs on our eggs Benedict, other parts CB of orders also missing. Home fries just deep fried cubes no seasoning. Crab cakes were terrible... Will never go back.. expected more from the classic hotel

I went to dinner with 2 friends and we all ordered cocktails, the cauliflower appetizer and fish and chips. The bar service was extremely slow. We had to ask where our drinks were after 15-20 minutes, The cauliflower appetizer was delicious. We ordered the fish and chips previously and it was delicious. But this time, 2 orders of the fish and chips were undercooked. We were able to eat around the undercooked part. The waitress said she was sorry but we still were charged for our meals. The Exeter Inn is a great spot but it is hit or miss with service and food quality.
