This is a top-tier brewery! Some of the best beer and classic English pies I’ve ever had! A variety of flavors is sure to make everyone happy! The decor is classic, the vibes are great! To boot, the owners and employees are very friendly! If I were local I’d be here every chance I got! I’ll certainly be back when I’m in Exeter again.

We LOVE Fat Hen! So much so that we asked them to cater an 80 person welcome party in ME for our wedding- and they did it flawlessly! The owners and their team are so kind and fun- we loved having them there on our special day and their food was such a hit that we had guests talking about it all weekend long! Truly the best pies and beer you can find!!

Heard about this place through a neighbor and decided to check it out. LOVE the atmosphere, traditional pub style. The pot pies are on a whole other level. The variety is unmatched. I don't drink beer so I had wine and it was really good! The staff and owners were pleasant and responsive to our needs. Definitely check it out, you won't be disappointed!

The beer and food were fantastic! We had the steak and ale pie and the fish pie and they definitely did not disappoint. We tried all but, 1 of the beers and they were all great. The bartender was super funny and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

Top notch beer and the food is so good we forgot to drink our beer once we started eating! Delicious pies (has Doner pie and chicken pie, brought two home for later in the week). Super friendly atmosphere, just a great place!

We absolutely love Fat Hen Brewing Co. The beer selection is plentiful and diverse and if you're not into beer they do carry great wine and our favorite sparkling, Chandon! Although small, the staff is always willing get you a comfortable spot. We had a group of 8 at the couch/coffee table and had a great time! Amazing variety of pies which include classics and seasonal creations! Peas are off the charts and the mac & cheese is a favorite of our 11 year old! Definitely check them out, you won't be disappointed 🥧🍻🫛

Closest thing to British feeling pub since we moved away from England. Haven’t had a bad pie yet. The “downside” to this is it’s hard to go back to my favorites when I want to try the monthly rotating pies as well. Some of the friendliest staff I’ve met. Beer is really good as well. If they could get a real cask ale it would push them over the top.

Stopped in with my wife after she saw Fat Hen on Instagram. I am a big fan of micro brews and this place looked interesting. The tap room itself is modeled after a cozy English pub. I sampled their English ale, Kolsch and Mexican lager. All were delicious. We also shared the beef and ale meat pie which was fantastic! Steve was super friendly and engaging with us and all the customers. We had a great experience and will definitely return!
