Laney & Lu at 26 Water St is Exeter, NH is wonderful. We have eaten here many times and love it! Everything is fresh and delicious! It is a small restaurant with limited seating, so it can get busy at times and since everything is made fresh, the wait can be a little long. But it’s worth it! Staff is friendly. I love that they have a Berkey for self serve water. Their coffee is very good too. I give this restaurant two big thumbs up ? ?.

Inconsistency is ruining this place. Feels like they’ve bitten off more than they can chew and it’s reflected in the quality of food and service.
I ordered my first PSL today all excited and it tasted disgusting. I shared it with a colleague and even he had the same though “it tastes like cardboard” not worth $1 let alone $10

Latte great. As of august 2024 it cost about 5$(on par with others) and some change for taxes. I would recommend. Clean inside and out. Easy parking. No latte art but it still taste good. Service great, they handed me the latte each time while waiting at a table.

The toast was surprisingly delicious, and the smoothie was too! Very thick. I've never had ginger root in a smoothie but wow I'm a fan! Great coffee. Lovely outdoor seating... super cute spot!

Oh my….so adorable. Everything about it! The cafe, the location, the lilacs along the outdoor patio that don’t even belong to the cafe…totally worth the search to find them only slightly around the corner of the beaten path. Sip your matcha lemonade in the sun outdoors. The granola was noteworthy and the menu quaint in that skinny-girl-with-yoga-mat kind of way. Cute!

We walked in to get coffee. The cashier completely ignored us as she was talking to a friend. We stood there waiting and it seemed like forever. Service to customers is more important than the younger generation ignoring and disrespecting people. We won’t be going back there again. Service was BAD . Coffee not that great either.

Kudos to the chef for creating such yummy dishes! My favorites are Key Lime Smoothie Bowl (seasonal), Cashew Caesar (sub GF bread) and Falafel Mediterranean. They are very respectful of food allergies, which I appreciate. I love the fresh, tasty ingredients...just be prepared to pay a bit more. Exeter location is usually quite busy and seating is limited. In warmer months, outdoor space helps alleviate seating issue. Head over to beautiful, new, spacious Portsmouth location for more elbow room.
