Kudos to the chef for creating such yummy dishes! My favorites are Key Lime Smoothie Bowl (seasonal), Cashew Caesar (sub GF bread) and Falafel Mediterranean. They are very respectful of food allergies, which I appreciate. I love the fresh, tasty ingredients...just be prepared to pay a bit more. Exeter location is usually quite busy and seating is limited. In warmer months, outdoor space helps alleviate seating issue. Head over to beautiful, new, spacious Portsmouth location for more elbow room.

Visited March 2024.Cramped, noisy, tatty. Dubious commitment to environment.Noise:All surfaces hard / tiled meaning that just a few people talking in the cafe makes it really noisy. Nothing in terms of soft furnishings to dampen the noise. Then music played in the background on top of that.Price:$5 latte + $1 for oat milk seems excessive. Sandwiches reasonably priced.Tatty:Bathroom needs some TLC: silicone surrounding sink dirty / needing replaced.Cramped:Tables too close together; would suggest removing one of the five in the row.Environmental:Everything comes on cardboard trays; “plant based” disposable cutlery; paper cups. Salad comes in plastic bowls. The environmental impact remains significant: could the place not invest in some crockery and metal cutlery? Stop creating more waste? Disingenuous to suggest that the place has a positive environmental footprint, despite what the promotional material for the place might suggest.Pros:Good coffee, good jam.Don’t think I’d come again, sorry.

Just ordered Açaí bowl. Literally 1/2 size of Juicery in Newburyport. Cost $1 more and Açaí base is flavorless.

Top tier ? it’s rare to find a coffee shop that is so ahead of its time ? with superfood offerings that include ghee and organic ingredients. This is a must if your in the area ?

Underwhelmed. Ordered a mocha latte and a breakfast sandwich. Received a regular coffee with a bit of chocolate and a fried egg with a slice of cheese between two slices of bread. The high Google ratings had created expectations of some pizzaz.

Food tends to be really good. Service is very slow. The app orders are many, so if you walk in, it feels as though you are competing against anyone who ordered ahead. I guess I feel that if I'm in the store waiting... I would have precedence? They need more staff.

Laney & Lus has great healthy organic bowls, smoothies, coffee and tea, brownies etc. We have been long time customers and we are very satisfied the majority of the time over the past several years. I would give the business 4 or perhaps 5 stars however the atmosphere at the Exeter location is simply unbearable particularly during the cold months. We want to stay and dine in the cafe, but the music is always playing way too loud. I'm not a fan of the type of music they play but I could overlook that if they turned the music down a couple of notches. I took my elderly dad for a coffee recently but we had to leave because we had to yell to hear each other.

I really appreciate that. They will make a sandwich with a very good quality gluten-free bread. It's hard to find that I've also had very happy service and very quick so I would give them five stars on the quality of their food and the service. The dining area is not very large and I usually get takeout, I appreciate the emphasis on gluten-free and cleanliness.
