The last time I was in Exeter I had several people tell me to grab a burger at Lexie's. This time around I was able to squeeze in lunch before driving home and I'm glad I did! The burger is amazing - October's special fries was the perfect union of sweet and spicy and the service was phenomenal! Dylan made the perfect food recommendations and had an epic 80's playlist that set the exact vibe I needed.

The food was good the service was terrible. Not the fault of the one server they had working. We got our food in intervals. First our shake. 10.min later fries 10 minutes later our burger. Then had to wait 30 mins to pay. We were there over an hour and a half just to have a burger and fries.

The food itself is good. Somewhat overpriced in my opinion, and I don't know why they have table service when it's just a casual burger place. I'd prefer counter service.

Picture this - you and your husband have a free afternoon together. You’ve told him how good Lexi’s is so you decide to go. You’ve told don’t know the menu so you go to the website to place an order. I select “dine-in” this brings you to Toast, or some app like that, idk. I order our food and leave a tip since we are eating in the restaurant. We get there and get our food and sit at the window. Mind you, the entire restaurant was empty of dining customers, we were the first customers to be eating in the restaurant. I see when I open my food the burger doesn’t have onions rings which are a significant up charge to just not mention. I go to the desk and they kindly put two onion rings down so I patiently wait. Once I get the onion rings I go back to my husband who has informed me we were kicked out because you can not eat “to go” orders in the restaurant (?????). This truly is the strangest and most off putting thing after specially selecting dine in and then leaving a tip then then even making it wrong then being kicked out… can confirm my family will not be back just off service. Unfortunately for us, the food is great!

To satisfy our burger appetite, we ordered takeout from this place. The burgers were delicious. I loved all of the creative topping combinations. Plus, with our convenient Newburyport location, we can't wait to return and sample some other burgers.

Cheese burger I wasn't crazy about bland and fries were overcooked & onions were awesome.
Food burgers and fries with some nice creative touches (muenster on the fries), pleasant atmosphere, good service but uncomfortable chairs. Of course, not the place you would go to a for a 3 hour romantic meal, it fits the bill for a quick meal at a decent price.

Wow what a major disappointment. Been coming for years and today my 10 yo grandsons wanted milkshakes. They gathered up a bunch of change and walked over and they were refused service saying they don't take change 😠 seeing them so disappointed and sad none of us will be back.
