Had the pleasure of eating at the Chef’s Table last night with friends. It was a great time watching the food prep, chatting with the chefs and enjoying fabulous food. Each course carefully constructed and thoughtfully prepared. We tried everything on the menu and the fish dishes and the chicken were the highlight, and nothing was a disappointment. Come hungry as you get a lot of food which makes the price point impressive.
Worth a visit!

Last night my family took me to Otis. to celebrate a 10 year celebration of my diagnosis with Crohn's disease. My family contacted Chef Lee to see if he would be present at the restaurant to say hello. It seemed that Chef Lee came down to the restaurant that night to come wish us well. He stayed and chatted with us for about 15 minutes, was incredibly personable, was genuinely engaged with our family, and was very happy to be a part of our celebration. Then we moved on to our dinner which was absolutely exceptional. Each dish was so comforting and felt like it was cooked with love. The sauces, meats and vegetables were all cooked to perfection and complemented each other beautifully. This was an incredibly important celebration for me and Chef Lee made it unforgettable both with his hospitality and the food. Thank you to Chef Lee and everyone at Otis for making this experience so special for me. We will definitely be returning!

Numerous experiences at Otis, and each one has impressed us more so than the last. A unique dining experience with impeccable food! Chef Lee Frank has created an environment that draws you in time and time again serving a tasting menu with the in season ingredients. His food will leave you satisfied and looking to book the next reservation on your car ride home.

We loved the tasting menu concept. Each course was a work of art and outstanding on its own. A lovely and unique dining experience.

Gem of a place. Personal service, inventive and flavorful dishes. Highly recommended.

Vegetarian options: The chef is happy to adjust the menu for vegetarians. They did a great job for my daughter and I.

Having just moved to the Seacoast from Orlando, we were excited to try the best restaurant in New Hampshire and the only one with a James Beard semifinalist chef. It's better than anything we've had in Portsmouth so far but unfortunately it wasn't up to expectations from other James Beard experiences. While none of the food was bad, it wasn't great. It was just your standard run of the mill type of meal. $75 is a pretty reasonable price for a meal, not Barcelona cheap but US tasting menu cheap. Portions were pretty small for a 5 course meal but for $75, it's understandable. I've had meals where the courses were smaller but I'd have 12-15 but the portions for this are what I would say would be for a 7 or 8 course meal. My wife and I have been lucky to eat at many highly reviewed restaurants around the world and this one is just meh. We didn't feel cheated out of a meal or anything but it's a one and done place for now. If it's your first time trying a fine dining restaurant and you are closer to the Seacoast compared to Portland or Boston, it's worth a visit. Otherwise I would skip it and travel a bit further for something better or possibly Mystic, CT where the NE best restaurant is located.

An excellent experience. We are foodies from RI where the food scene is supreme. Otis held its own in comparison. We loved the knowledgeable bartender, the warm and friendly atmosphere and receiving a menu selected by a chef whose ingredient selection and food preparation are a true art form. Book the 7:30 seating, as there isn't a seating after it, you won't feel rushed.
Highly recommend!

Food portion was large and every bite was delicious. It was very hot sitting at the counter so I think if you run hot, sit at the tables.
