As a former New Yorker who was lucky enough have authentic food from all over the world available to me, I cannot say enough good things about this gem in Exeter. We lived in Portsmouth for over 10 years and would often go to Sze\nchuan Taste because it was the best in NH. Now we moved to NC and anytime we head back up to NH you can be sure we will come here. Ping, the manager is also from NY and now I know why his menu is the BEST north of NY! He is wonderful as is his staff....
I was just calling to get a question answered which it was I did not dine there this time. I have nine there before once or twice and it was about a four star maybe a three I don't like the place that much. In general it's too expensive for what you get
General Taos chicken and chicken wings were excellent.
BUT - the pork fried rice had very little flavor - please add some flavor to it.
Service was excellent! Price was fair, too.
