I ordered Baja fish tacos to go and they charged me a take out fee! When did that become a thing! I understand a delivery fee, but a take out fee, ridiculous what a rip off.It was $3.49 the tacos were 3 for $15.99 which I thought was kinda pricy but i was hungry and willing to pay that, but didn’t expect to pay extra for me to drive there and pick up ! Plus the tacos were so spicy I could barely eat them, I had to take the fish out of the tortilla to eat without all the spicyness so i basically paid $20 for three fish sticks ! Shame on you Thirsty moose! Prices are high enough for everything these days , thanks for making it unaffordable for me to eat at your restaurant . Never again !
I think this place is pretty good for an average spot with a decent atmosphere and a decent meal. I wouldn’t make a habit of it but all in all our server was really good. They had a large tap selection. The chicken fingers were prob the best thing we had(the only thing I got a pic of sorry). Sliders weren’t bad. My husband liked his sandwich. Def give it a try! Maybe go when they have an event or deals 🤷🏼♀️
The food is excellent. They have a huge beer selection. If you like IPAs, I strongly recommend the Maine Lunch.
We like to sit outside on nice days. It's a bit close to the road, but it's still enjoyable.
Thy have a very large menu. It’s a good place if everyone is in the mood for different options.
Five stars other than meal order a bit slow
Amazing food and amazing service just don’t sit outside at night the big will bite you a lot
The Bavarian Pretzel is my go to app. The mustard dipping sauce along with the beer cheese is absolutely yummy.
I haven't had a bad meal, whether it be just a sandwich or dinner, you can't go wrong.
I live close by. Have ordered a “to go “ a few times. Sadly they can’t seem to get anything right! The last time place A simple order of Fish Tacos when opened at home - NO Fish. Then tonight one of the items I ordered was truffle fries. Didn’t know they came blackened? I don’t understand I used to live close by the Thirsty Moose in Portsmouth and their food was always fabulous! Not sure I will give the Thirsty Moose in Exeter a third try. Very sad.

One of my go-to places when I’m in Exeter, NH for food, good beer, and a great atmosphere. It’s hard not to order one of their delectable pizzas, but the other choices have been equally delicious!!

I am a very picky eater and this place is absolutely amazing! I had the bbq chicken bacon sandwich and it was amazing. The guys said the beer was good. Will visit again when I come back to the area! Our waitress was super sweet and helpful!
It was awful, food was disgusting and took forever to make, we are talking 2 hours, the servers were rude, and they were blasting awful music the entire time
Vegetarian options: There was a vegetarian option, but it was limited and they all tasted awful.
Kid-friendliness: They gave me a hassle about getting a high chair
Wheelchair accessibility: There are no ramps and the out door option is not at all wheel chair friendly

Perfect end to the day, sitting in front of the fire, had a little dinner, a couple of drinks, and got to spend uninterrupted time catching up with family.
Vegetarian options: We had a vegetarian and a vegan in the group and they both found meals that worked for them.
Dietary restrictions: We had someone n the group with a shellfish allergy and they took it seriously. It was appreciated.
