Best Breakfast in town

We decided to google a place as my dog was getting fixed locally. Trackside came up with decent reviews so we went there for bfast. It is inside of a store which was different. Food was ok just simple eggs bacon toast etc. Waitress was very nice I didnt catch her name! Its a cute spot for people who just want a quick stop in the middle of town!

This place is awesome. Old train station atmosphere, tucked behind a convience store. The Down Eastern stops right here, you could literally take the train from Maine or Mass. Country Benedict is highly recommended.

Run by a friendly and personable staff.
The meals are great comfort food. Their lunch options are just as good as the breakfast selection. They do close a little early in opinion, at 1pm.

Try the breakfast quesadilla. Good spot to eat while waiting for your train.

A bit cramped service is solid, but somewhat surly

If you told me the world was ending tomorrow and I could only eat at one more place. I would without any hesitation say I'm going to the Trackside Cafe. Whenever someone asks me where to go in the seacoast it's my go to recommendation. I love it.

I recently dined at Trackside Cafe in Exeter, NH, on a Saturday morning at 8:00 am, and it was a great experience. I had the "Irish" Benedict with homemade corned beef hash, which was excellent. The hash, cooked to a perfect crisp as requested, was flavorful and paired beautifully with perfectly poached eggs and a rich, homemade hollandaise sauce.

My daughters, aged 10 and 7, enjoyed their pancakes immensely. The Mickey Mouse chocolate chip pancake and the regular chocolate chip pancake were both large and satisfying, with the kids happily finishing every bite.

The service was prompt and friendly, with only a brief five-minute wait to be seated. The hostess and wait staff were welcoming and efficient, enhancing our dining experience.

Trackside Cafe’s atmosphere is charmingly low-key, offering a classic diner vibe with a unique twist—it's located inside a convenience store. The space is cozy, with just a few tables and a long counter with additional seating.

The total bill for our breakfast came to just $23.48, plus a $5 tip. Overall, Trackside Cafe delivered great food, attentive service, and a pleasant ambiance at an excellent value. I’m looking forward to returning soon!

Had the western scramble and was very pleased that there was a good amount of cheese compared to others I’ve had. Food was delicious and the place was super cute. Staff was very friendly!
