Good food! Cute place. Clean bathrooms. Overall a quick stop on our trip that was enjoyable.

The waitress/barmade seemed like we were bothering her by being there. Prices were high but chicken bacon quesadilla was tasty

I had the fish chowder and the kids had a kids hamburger, kids butter pasta and we had the cheese cake and apple pie. My 6 year old ate every bite of his giant burger and loved it. My chowder was the best meal of my trip so far and the apple pie was fought over! The place was fairly empty on a Tuesday afternoon but people seemed to like it - there was a group of ladies playing a game after their meal. We loved the vibe.

Lovely local bar, bar staff and locals were so nice to us , visiting from England. 😁 some tasty vegan options too!

Its a small town bar and restaurant, good selection, was sad to see no cider on tap, but it Guinness which makes up for it. (They have bottled cider I just really like getting drinks poured)

I got a bleu cheese burger, it was very good however, I'd have liked a little more bleu cheese, there was a trivia night going on and you could tell people were having fun. The staff was great, the bartender is night, and the place was very clean.

I love the homeliness of small town bars and I'll definitely come again when Im next over there

Came for an early dinner (we missed lunch exploring the White Mountains) after seeing they were in our guidebook and nearby. We got there at a good time as it was nearly empty prior to dinner rush (4pm). Our waitress, Diana, was super friendly (in the down-to-earth way, not the fake, peppy waitress way) and chatte with us as bit. We both ordered the fish & chips. Normally, there always seems to be one component of a meal there isn't as good as the rest, but not in this case. The coleslaw was the perfect level of moisture & seasoning, the fish was cooked perfectly, with a golden, crisp coating and not greasy at all. The fries were also cooked great, not greasy and actually were salted correctly! You can always tell when they wait too long to salt fries so no salt sticks. I thought the tartar sauce would disappoint, as it looked more mayo-like than I'm used to, but again, it was perfect! So happy we ended up there and would definitely stop in again if we get up that way.

We had a great family dinner at the Dutch Treat. What a super restaurant! Food and cocktails were delicious. Our waitress Diana is a Franconia treasure. One room has the bar and a pool table. The other room is quieter for dinner. Stylish homey food and ambiance. We have a wheelchair: one handicap spot in large Parking lot and one-step up into the restaurant.

While in Franconia to ski at Cannon, we stopped to have dinner at The Dutch Treat. Definitely was "not" a treat. When we first walked in the woman looked annoyed that she had to seat us. When we first sat down, they told us what was not available on the menu because they were sold out, which was probably the only two things our kids would have ordered. We started with French onion soup. It was cold, and the cheese was not melted in the oven. It almost looked like it was placed on a frying pan burnt until It was crispy, and then placed back on top of the soup, horrible. The meatloaf was two tasteless Burger patties smashed together and cut into a square shape with gravy, completely tasteless and horrible. I ordered a salad and it did not come with any dressing couldn't find the waitress after food was served to even ask for it. Besides this place is overpriced at least if you were getting a decent meal would be worth it. Horrible do not even bother!

The food was pretty good, but the wait was ridiculous. We waited over an hour for food. When asked how long our food would take after already an hour of waiting, service did not even offer to check on our food for us, just said "it'll be ready when it's ready." At no point did they warn us that it would be a long wait.
The dish I ordered was a quesadilla... Not very difficult or time consuming to make. Not to mention a table that got here 30 min after us got their food before us.

Our family came here for dinner during the busy fall-peeper season so we weren't surprised there was a wait for dinner. It didn't take long to be seated but they let us know it would be 45 minutes to get food (it only took 30). In the meantime we enjoyed delicious beverages and the servers (Diana was amazing!) were friendly and attentive even though super busy.
Franconia is a quieter local town than the more commercialized other local ski towns and we were thrilled to be visiting. It was cool to see people from all over the world and have a long chat with locals at the end of the night. Oh yeah, the food was delicious also! Big menu. I'm not sure I cared though because the ambiance made it the most special.

It was overall good after a long driving day. When we came in before even taking our orders we said we want something quick for the kids, pizza and a pasta. the pizza took 40 minutes to come out. With hungry and tired kids its not an option.

While it wasnt expensive, i think it should have been waived when brought to table after everyone ate / sleeping.
