We had found this place while visiting the area and checked out the reviews. We had a busy day and planned for dinner around 7. We had about a 20 minute wait but were able to get a cocktail in the bar area. There was live music that night which was very good. The place was busy. Our server was very friendly. My husband was hoping for the prime rib special but we were too late as they ran out. He did have a nice rib eye dinner that he really enjoyed. I ate a little lighter enjoying a Caesar salad which was pretty basic but enjoyed very much as it was not saturated in dressing, just the right amount. I also had the seafood chowder which I was really in the mood for. It was excellent, great flavors and tasted fresh. The whole dining experience was very good .

We stopped by Ellacoya Restaurant 2667 Lakeshore Rd Gilford, NH 03249 . I had the Chicken feta wrap . The sweet potato fries when served were steamy. As soon as I took a bite my taste buds were indulged in the supple flavoring of hints of cinnamon. Next to come to the party was the grilled chicken feta wrap. The wrap itself was warm and comforting. The lettuce was crunchy and the chicken was tender and moist. You can taste the fruity duo of apple and pear, so you know I had to savor every bite. It's a little bit messy with all of the flavorful juices, so you'll have to use your cloth napkin. I would stop by again next time I am around . ? ?
Parking: There is only a few handicap spaces available to park.

Came here before a concert at Bank Of NH Pavillion. The staff were excellent, comfortable and cozy barn atmosphere and we got seafood platter and fish and chips and were absolutely delicious. The fish is worth a 2 hour drive in its self. I’ll be back!

Fabulous meal and great service. Highly recommend this place for freshly made food and interesting, old world surroundings.
We ordered the panko haddock with rice, and the steak tips well done. Everything except the fish was really undercooked. The vegetables were crunchy, the steak tips were medium, the rice was crunchy and not flavored as stated, and the fish was not served with lemon, was bland, and had burnt panko on top. The waitress was nice and gave us a free dessert....of frozen apple crisp ?♀️. Such a sad experience. Our first and last time here.

Worst dining experience in quite some time. Manger was rude, food was subpar waitstaff was confused, no silverware was brought to the table the outdoor dining is awful load street noise. Would not recommend.

They don't really know how to manage a restaurant! Food on the stairs stayed there the entire time we were in the restaurant! 1 1/2 hours !!
