Enjoyed the adventure, then again I didn't look down off the road since there weren't guardrails. Definitely wouldn't recommend driving it yourself. You may be apprehensive about going if you're afraid of heights. There's a cog railway on the other side of the mountain. There's a museum behind the tour building that was nice. After seeing the cost of the cog railway (and the possible schedule challenges given we had a limited amount of time), we decided to make the drive up the mountain in our little rental Ford EcoSport. What an absolutely amazing trip. Paul, our driver and super knowledgeable guide, made the trip!! His insight into the whole mountain from the bottom to the top was remarkable. He made it a point to make sure everyone got to see all the sights and was more than willing to snap photos and help us create memories.
