We are locals and this is by far the best Italian food we have come across in the north country! My fiancé even popped the question here! This will be a memorable place to us for a long time we love the food, atmosphere, and staff! Thank you Nonna’s!!!

This is world class food in a homey setting. If you're anywhere near Gorham, this is worth a drive. I had a simple green salad and pesto ravioli, both superb.

My hotel's front desk suggested about 4 restaurants for out second night in the area. I wanted a local's restaurant. Nonna's was recommended. We walked into Nonna's Kitchen at 6p, sharp. The restaurant was full for the night. The receptionist first said she could not take any more reservations, but after a 2 minute conversation, she said she could squeeze us in if we ate in exactly 45 minutes. Deal!!! If you travel a lot, you get a feeling about a restaurant the moment you walk in. Let me tell you, my feelings were correct. The food was better than any food we ate this last spring in Italy. Micky our waiter is the son of the owner and quite a fisherman in the off season. He's good and knows his menu. Micky doesn't drink wine, but his mother does. She is quite a hoot once you get to know her and said "wine runs through my veins". She paired all three of our dishes with a different wine. She watches over every table in that restaurant as well as every dish that comes out of the kitchen. Oh, the receptionist shuffled their reservations and we stayed 90 minutes. If I am ever within 100 miles of that restaurant, I'll stop by for dinner.

We were so happy they were able to find us a table, even though we did not have a reservation. Everyone was very welcoming & the food was perfect after an afternoon of mtn biking. The house chianti paired nicely with everything. It was a perfect way to end a great day & celebrate our anniversary! Thanks Nonna's staff!!!

We decided to try this place based on the reviews. The chicken Marsala was very good with pasta cooked perfectly. However the meatball I ordered was not hot, more like cool. My wife got a plate with meatball, sausage and pasta, the meatball and sausage were not hot or warm.
Our friend got the chicken parmigiana and you could see parts of the pasta was all stuck together and it was hard, not eatable.
Maybe it was a bad night or something but no dish should leave the kitchen when food is not hot and pasta is stuck together. However we will give it another try, but have to give an honest review regarding this visit.

Very small eatery in the town of Gorham. Very old building and have lot of legacy. Recommended by the motel we stayed. Food is very authentic but I could not enjoy a lot with my Asian taste buds. My family liked it a lot though - so an amazing place to be, and I really recommend going there. Also an amazing staff and a very friendly owner, so the ambience of the place only serves to add to the pleasantness of the restaurant. If you are visiting this area, Nonna is a must visit.

For years we have driven through Gorham en route to northern Maine and never found a good place for dinner to break up the long car ride. But tonight we had the luck to stumble upon Nonna’s Kitchen. What a fantastic dining experience start to finish. Our young family was welcomed in and everyone devoured the fresh pasta. 10/10. This will be our official new dinner stop.

Great meal. Greeted by Nonna herself. She sat me and gave me great recommendations included that nights special if fried ricotta balls which were delicious. I ordered the Nonna Piatta for dinner. Red sauce was fantastic as were the meatball, pork, sausage and spaghetti. Topped off with Nonnas final recommendation of the blueberry cheesecake cannoli which was scrumptious. Superb dinner.
