I had the French onion chicken dish, which was delicious and came with a huge portion of mashed potatoes and chicken. My friend had the lamb burger, which was also delicious. The food took a while to come out, but it was fresh and worth the wait as we weren't in a rush. I'd recommend trying this place out if you're passing through.

What a super cool find. This is what a lot of places try to be but they don't quite get it right. The authenticity, the food, the drinks amazing. The atmosphere took it over the top. Will be back if I find myself in this neck of the woods again.

Me and my husband regret going to this restaurant. We really do, because we live 6hrs away and there’s no place like this. We can guarantee you this was one of the best meals we ever had in our lives, it was a one in a life time kind of experience.
I made the terrible mistake to order the pumpkin Gorgonzola pasta and now I can’t forget that pasta. All I think is having that pasta again, and guess what? There’s no pasta like this one anywhere else!
The service is nice, the restaurant is really a vault. You go in and you steep in a different world. I don’t remember being so passionate about a food like I’ve been about this pasta.
ORDER THE PUMPKIN GORGONZOLA PASTA!!!

Well this was a new experience. Loved the idea of the place and was excited to check it out. Came in at 7:30 on a Sunday evening after wandering about the mountains for the day, and was turned away by a very cold and dismissive server and told that they were at capacity for the night (despite being seemingly only half-full, and being open for 3.5 more hours until 11:00) I understand having to accommodate future reservations or being low on staff or whatever the case was, but this was definitely a first, and most importantly definitely not handled warmly or with grace. No good vibes felt here :(

Food was fabulous, but the service was awful. We had a reservation but stood at the hostess stand for 10 minutes before anyone even acknowledged we were there. Had to walk up to the bar to order our drinks. Finally placed our order 30 minutes later. We were never served water, and once again had to go to the bar to order our second drink. After eating our meal, we tried to flag our server down to get our check…She purposely would not look at us as she walked by. We can understand if the servers were overwhelmed, but they should have at least told us that they would take care of us shortly. Don’t eat here if you’re on a timeline.

This restaurant has been the best one on our trip. Great service, music and atmosphere. The food?? Phenomenal!! If you are swinging thru or staying in Gorham, Nh you must eat here.
The atmosphere was really good and there was live music, but the food was subpar for our taste. The African noodles were some sort of softened ready-made product, and the taste of ketchup predominated in the sauce The beef was fatty and hidden under a lake of gravy. We left almost $100 for it (including beer). Sorry, even though the waitress was very nice, I'll never eat again!

Such a great find in a town not known for adventurous cuisine. The food, atmosphere & service were all top-notch. I had the savory apple-squash soup & lamb tacos & my wife had a salad w/ roast seasoned chicken. The servings were small but OMG so well-prepared. & prices were reasonable, similar to what you would pay at a diner. By far the best dinner we've ever had in the White Mountains. Superb!!

We got the vegan African spice noodles, the mushroom plate and the thai peanut cups. We showed up on a night that was short staffed and busy but everyone was really kind and we got our food quick enough. I definitely would recommend this place it’s got a great atmosphere and the African spice noodles were everyone’s favorite by far.
