Dive bar. Unfriendly bartender. Worst 3 drinks I’ve had in years. A green watermelon Margarita, no salt in the house for the rim. Switched to espresso martinis. Poorly made ran out of espresso for my next drink. Left very disappointed and very dissatisfied. 1st here and definitely my last.

This is a local local place one of only three places in Hampton Beach that is open year-round. During the day it is kid friendly, best if you eat outside on the balcony deck. Food is just okay and drinks are reasonable as to be expected for Beach prices. They have a great karaoke following which goes on yr round and happens every night of the week. They have 2 pool tables and a dance floor up and down stairs. Ambulatory friendly for individuals using a wheelchair or on crutches.

The food was good. But it took my friend and I over five minutes to get greeted, ten minutes to get our drinks. Our appetizer was forgotten and was never asked how our food was or if we wanted more drinks. (My wine was done before we got our twin lobster deals). I went to the bar and then was completely ignored. There was only 6 people at the bar. We informed her she forgot the appetizer and she didn’t seem to care about much. The food was good but i’ve been a bartender for over 8 years and this was one of the worst experiences i’ve ever received. -This was the the top patio bar

Waitress was unfriendly (Thursday at 6) long dark hair. Threw menus on table..never introduced herself..acted bothered when asking about the menu and keno. I am not from this state and was not familiar with the way some of the food was being served. The waitress just could not be bothered. She should not be dealing with the public

taco Tuesday ? is the best on the beach the tacos look like burrito grande ..the have the best beer selection got love that sour stoneface berry sour on point . burger Thursday are pretty taste too.. Sydney and Katie are such funny lady behind the bar come see them ..!
Love coming to Charlie's! Staff and food are great. Bartenders were on point tonight for $5 burger night.

I too waited to leave this review, and after my 5th shoulder season up here, my last visit prompted me to review. Went there for AYCE fish and chips. One beer and special with tip, $25. Not worth it for bar food. Two small fish filets and like 50 french fries. The 8x8 inch plastic basket was overflowing with FF's... You must eat all the FF's to get more fish, total joke... No way, so it is not AYCE, typical advertising/mtkg scam. Maybe it is an AYCE, for FF's, not for fish. Plus, I got a small plastic container for tartar and ketchup. What am I a child?, cant use any containers that have more than one ounce of sauce? I found it "dollar store" weak. After several visits over a few years, this is not an inviting place to those that are not year round residents, plus the food deals are weak....I would rate Wallys, L street tavern, Logans, and the Goat before Charlies. It is what it is.....
