Great new spot! Loved the old place but this is much better in my opinion. Menu is elevated but not so far out of reach that many people won't go. Three people in my party. One had a burger, said it was fabulous! My husband had the salmon and repeatedly said how good it was. I enjoyed the stroganoff, which was delicious (however I do feel it could've used more sauce, just FYI). We also ordered the meatball toast, honey glazed carrots and truffle cream corn to share and all were memorable!

I had dinner with my daughter on a Wednesday evening. The place was quite busy in spite of the fact that our reservation was at 5:30 pm. Overall the food was as good as you would expect from a high-quality steakhouse. The service needs some adjustments as we order drinks with our entrees and got them almost at the end of our meal. Hopefully they would improve with time, since the place has only been open for two weeks or so. In general terms, it was a very good dinner. We will probably come back often.

First time trying this restaurant and we will be back! Sat at the bar so the noise was louder than it would be in the rest of the restaurant. Cocktail was excellent and the service from the bartenders was fantastic. Shrimp cocktail was as good as any in the area. My twin pepper filets were amazing, one served with red wine demi and the other with a light Hollandaise. My wife's 8oz filet was a little red for her liking (ordered med. and appeared to be med. rare) but otherwise excellent. The mashed and asparagus and green beans were excellent. Overall it seems a little pricey but definitely top quality!

To be at a new restaurant on the Saturday of opening week and for both my wife and I, to receive an outstanding meal, accompanied by fantastic service, was simply amazing. We already made reservations to go back the first Tuesday in February with two other couples to treat them to this outstanding addition to the NH Seacoast dining scene!

It seemed like n upscale Texas Roadhouse with the country music and animal busts. They removed all the nice cocktails, wine and appetizers that CRs had. Meh

Service was excellent food was terrible,steak was worst I've had needed a chainsaw to cut it.App. Wasn't good and it was cold,Fish had zero flavor. Won't return for the money they should be embarrassed.

CR's has been one of my favorite restaurants for the past several years. Last night i was informed of the sale of this special restaurant and the upcoming plans to change the name and menu offerings. As you can imagine I was so saddened and disappointed. There is nothing like CR's around this area, at least nothing that can complete. Another burger/ pub style restaurant is overkill and will be not be a draw for those who have raved about CR's for years. I cannot believe that the new owners could be so blind to the desire for comfortable upscale dining . I wish the new owners good luck. I wish the staff and past owners my thanks for many wonderful memories and delicious meals in this very special gem of a restaurant..... you will all be sorely missed.

Everything was off from the very beginning. It took the waitress over 10 minutes to greet us before even pouring water. Our drinks were wrong and took forever to get to the table. Party of 4 and 2 meals came out about 5 minutes earlier than the other 2 and when the 2nd entrees arrived, one was wrong. The kitchen was severely backed up and they don't have enough staff to handle the volume. Hope the new owners do better.

Our meal was truly outstanding in every way possible. Food was cooked to perfection and our server....she was simply amazing! Sad to hear that the restaurant sold and won't be serving the same food as is being served now. It's hard to find a restaurant like CR's with the food that they serve. What will be coming I saw on social media is a burger and steak place....not the same atmosphere or vibe....such a shame.
Food is excellent and environment upscale but not pretentious. The service can be hit or miss as some waiters just don't seem trained up for this type of service. Many of the longtime servers are exceptional. Love the freshened menu.

We love CRs. The food is always good. Schnitzel was perfect. Halibut was a little over cooked. Salads and desserts were special. The issue was the music in the lounge. We were seated very close. And IT WAS WAY TOO LOUD. I hope the music is helping business. We don't think they need it. The interior is so cozy, the food is excellent, and the service is attentive. Why spoil it with bad music. That being said, we go back again and again. And always recommend it.

Went here with my son last night on a mission to find a good steak. Ambience was lovely, service was fine, the steak was awful. I got the cowboy steak (for $56!) and it was spiced with some horrendous sweet over the top smokehouse seasoning. Same with the potatoes that came with it. The seasoning made it hardly edible. I ordered medium rare and it was medium well at best and the consistency of the meat was bizarre. I didn't want to make a scene in front of my son otherwise I would have sent it back. My son got the steak frites which was marginally better. The best part of both meals was the shoestring fries.
I used to come here when it was Bonta many years ago and always had an excellent dining experience. This was my second time trying CRs and both times have been a serious disappointment. The first time we ordered shrimp cocktail and the restaurant was out of horseradish, so we had to eat shrimp with ketchup 🤣
