Food was EXCELLENT! Service was also excellent, although the restaurant was quite busy and it took longer to have our meals delivered than we anticipated. We had scheduled dinner before a concert engagement with plenty of time, and were only just in time for the concert. If planning on a Saturday night, allow a bit of extra time. But everything was EXCELLENT!!!

We visit regularly and barely have a bad experience but felt I needed to make a note to the owners in case they happen to see this. The wait staff seemed a bit overwhelmed last night. We sat and we waited almost ten minutes before we were greated. Even though we knew our entire order before we ever sat down the waitress didn't wait long enough to just hear our drinks before I could tell her our appetizers then when we ordered dinner 30 mins at the table at this point our appetizers and entrees arrived at the same time. Sorry but buffalo tenders and prime rib is easy to see that they are to be served separate. I could tell the waitress had to many tables and all tables had 4 or more up to 8 people besides my table which had just the two of us. Most restaurants will let a server have 4 to 5 maybe 6 tables at a time. She had 2 4 tops pushed into 8. X 2 so that's 4 tables alone then she had a 5 top and a 4 top and then us on a 2. That's 7 tables alone but also it's 27 people she was serving a she was not keeping up but I doubt anyone could have. Suggest slowing down customer intake if your short handed

We enjoyed a very nice Easter dinner at Galley Hatch. The food was great as was the service. Our table was near the fire place, very nice. We'll definitely go back again!

Went out for Easter dinner with my wife and my mother food was outstanding. I had the salmon my mother had haddock. My wife had the mac & cheese. The food was great as usual and of course, a dessert which is always the best part of going to the galley hatch. It was busy, but service was pretty quick. The waitress was awesome. Couldn't ask for a better experience.

The swordfish was overcooked and salmon flavor was too sweet (not in a good way). Other items were great.

Our family has enjoyed coming here for dinner and celebrating holidays/special occasions often, as the have the seating capacity for large gatherings. However, after a recent appalling encounter with one of the night managers, I can't in good conscience bring my family there any more.

My husband and I visited the Galley Hatch last weekend, to finally use a gift card that we had been given. My husband had eaten there years ago and I had never been. Between the bad service and food, it was not worth an almost $200.00 bill. We were very disappointed.

Loved our lunch yesterday (in the inviting and spacious bar room) of salmon burgers with side and bloody Mary's! Festive atmosphere and friendly staff. Will return for sure!

Haven't been here in awhile. Stopped in today. I got the chicken cordon Bleu sandwich which was really overdone. My wife got the Haddock sandwich which the first bite was delicious but then found a hair on it. They took the Haddocks price off but very disappointed. Waitress was great. Probably won't go back.

I’ve been going to the GH since it was called Savory Square.(I think something like that!) I just felt like I was not welcome tonight as they closed on the dot of 10. I had just ordered one beer with my sister and bartender immediately told us everything was closing and they could only serve us the one beer which was fine. But then they proceeded to literally close the restaurant while we were drinking our beer. I know there was only one other group of people in the bar area, but really. Thought that was rude. Also, if you try to take out sometime, they won’t let you take out. Why is this? I think this is bad policy I know during Covid. They were desperate for business so takeout was offered all the time now that Covid is over they could care less about take out. I’ve been denied more than once. I do like the GH but haven’t liked the way I’ve been treated lately as a longtime customer.

Eight of us met at GH, a reunion of sort.
Eaten here MANY times over the years; have seen GH go through its growing years.
Service was perfect, attentive to details , courteous & professional.
Selections ranged but favored seafood dinners overall.
The portions and presentation were very appealing & adequate.
The food was very good...period.
Entire party commented very favorably on the entire experience.
Much recommended.

On two separate occasions I could not get help from any staff as I sat there by myself waiting for someone to acknowledge me I walked out both times. The issue I have is it was not busy and there was at least seven to nine staff members between the bakery and the host stand. I recommend saving your time there are plenty of other restaurants that are great in the area. The old salt is only a minute away and they are grateful for their guests.

Great dinner! We had a death in the family this weekend and had been at the funeral that morning and it was just so nice to have a nice quiet dinner to relax a little after the crazy week we had. Our waiter was amazing. I think his name was James, but I wasn't really paying that much attention. Thank you for a great evening. We so needed a break and some amazing food and drink.!
