Never so disappointed in my life. Placed an order for 1/2 pan of jerk pork and 1/2 pan of rice and peas to be delivered. They charged my credit card immediately but failed to deliver or even call and say they couldn’t deliver and also refused to answer their phone. Wouldn’t even refer them to the devil.

I love this place because they have delicious food at good prices. I love the jerk chicken, ox tail, curry goat, plantains, and the patties! The place is nice and clean and has a modern, beautiful eating area. It is also across from the Jackson Square orange line T stop and busses so you can get off the train, and grab dinner and go.

The food really great the jerk chicken was well seasoned but the person who gave me the food was so rude, I don’t eat beef or pork so wanted to make sure I got the chicken patty and the person would not respond, I asked for a to-go order on the call and she was like are you gonna pick the food cuz a lot them don’t come I was happy to provide a credit card but there was no customer service whatsoever would love to eat here but cannot tolerate being treated like someone is doing me a favor.

Got a plate of beef ribs with Mac n cheese it was awful. As a Jamaican I was extremely disappointed. The Mac and cheese had no flavor and it was a weird color, the ribs no flavor. The oxtails with peas and rice, even worst. Needless to say , I will not be

I ordered the beef ribs with rice and peas, roasted vegetables, and a seperate side of Mac and cheese. This came up to $33 (not including tax and UberEats fees). My family is from the Caribbean and I eat Jamaican food often. This honestly tastes nothing like Jamaican food. I took one bite of the macoroni and cheese and had to throw it away. The zucchini was nasty. The rice and beans were okay. The ribs were bland. I ended up giving this to my dog and just eating cereal instead. At this point this was the most expensive dog food ever. At least my dog enjoyed it. You guys should look into how Jamaicans season their food and take notes, because this was not it. It’s disgraceful to even call this a Jamaican restaurant. Please don’t take your money and go somewhere else where you can get better tasting Jamaican food that also gives you bigger portions for the same price. This food is disrespectful, disgraceful, and dishonest. The picture attached is the food mixed together in my dogs food bowl and the “macoroni and cheese” on the side.

Fantastic food and service! The jerk chicken sandwich is incredible and the portion sizes are generous. It came with fried plantains and slaw, both of which were excellent.

I’ve been here a total of three times. Each time hoping that this one will be better than the last but in fact each time has been worse than the visit before.??? Ordered the “Boneless” Jerk Chicken entree as well as the Coconut Shrimp entree both with rice & beans + dill slaw in addition to a “Childrens” Coconut Chicken plate with Mac and Cheese.Although the place wasn’t very busy, with the wait/preparation time being so long I was hopeful that the food would be fresh but I was sadly mistaken.I can’t help but feel like every time I come here that I’m getting someone’s microwaved leftovers (Mind you I was here an hour after opening). My boneless jerk chicken which is ultimately chicken pulled off the bone had actual sharp bone fragments in it.My “Childrens” plate of Coconut Chicken was definitely leftover chicken just refried as it was dry on the inside and chewy. The chicken itself was smothered in spicy sauce rendering it inedible for my 6 year old.Would’ve been better off with the sauce just on the side. The Mac and Cheese lacked flavor and actual cheese. It’s apparent that curry powder is used to give it more of a yellow color to deter from the fact that there’s barely any cheese in it.Beef Patty was soggy and limp, not flaky and hot. Then to top it all off, they forgot my coconut shrimp plate.I had to return to the restaurant only to wait an additional 20 minutes. Each experience has been extremely disappointing to say the least.

The shredded curry chicken was good and the plantains were bomb. Only thing I didn’t like was the rice and beans. Tasted gross felt nausea eating that rice and I always felt Jamaicans make some good rice. This was my first experience eating Jamaican food and maybe other spots make better rice? Idk but ima definitely get there shredded chicken again.

Food has drastically declined, just paid $8.50 for a patty with coco bread that was inedible because it was hard as a rock. Never mind the flavorless curry chicken, soupy Mac and cheese, and subpar rice and beans. Waste of money threw it right in the trash.

Finally tried this place after driving by many times and wish I had checked it out sooner! The jerk chicken was great - even the white meat (it was a 1/2 chicken) was juicy and not dry at all. Portions were also very generous. One heads up, I had first checked the menu on a 3rd party online ordering site and the prices there were significantly higher. Seeing it there actually made me not want to try the place at all since it seemed overpriced. Luckily I finally checked the actual menu on their website and realized the prices in-store were about $5 less.
