North of NOLA Restaurant & Bayou Bar

I simply love this place and the vibe. Great to have cajun in the North of Louisiana. Food was so good I ate the pictures too!;-')

Parking: There's a huge unused not blocked parking area on the same side of the street as NOLA I didn't ask if was okay to use yet.
A pay parking lot across the street. Off season should be easier to findd parking.

What a wonderful place. Our server Shawn was amazing. The food was amazing. I can't say enough good things about this place. My husband had the jambalaya, he loved it. I had the fried green tomatoes ( to die for), the hush puppies ( amazing), and the popcorn ?. This place is a hidden gem. I had a cocktail named Gator bite. It was so tasty. If you are in the area this place is a must.

We made a road trip to get beignets and it was well worth it! Also grabbed the pecan cake which was out of this world!! The owner came out to greet people and we sadly learned they are closing for the season on Sept 22!

The owner was very hospital and welcoming. Easy conversation. The food was phenomenal. Tried a few different meals. Can't say enough about the flavor of the food. I would highly recommend this place for people to try some cajun bayo based food. I'll will be back in the future.

Easy walk from Beach and parking! Love the upstairs patio!
Food is "Tourist Spicy" so you don't need to worry. It is delicious, but you can tell it's "North of NOLA" my only complaint is some dishes can't be made without certain ingredients.
We had a little lovely evening with the kids and all the staff were very nice! Hostess even blew bubbles with my son! Good food, cozy spot, we'll be back!

Amazing customer service and delicious food! Billy was an amazing server! The food was out fast and cooked to perfection. We were greeted when we walked in and checked on by the owner during our meal. Great selection of Cajun dishes and gluten-free buns for the burgers was a great surprise!

The entire family loved the dining experience outside…a nice cool breeze in the shade! Great, relaxed atmosphere with SUPER-FRIENDLY staff! Thanks, Billy and crew!

My wife and I had dinner and breakfast here. The spot is off the main strip but the breakfast and dinner are outstanding. Several options if you like spicy food but there is something for everyone... Highly recommend
