Stillwells Ice Cream Hampton

Ice cream is fine but the staff did not display great cleanliness for a place serving food. One of the workers climbed over the front counter on her bum. Her shorts were so short you could see her butt. And she scooted across the same counter they place the icecream on to serve you. Then she proceeded to pick up a cone she was eating off the counter by just placing her mouth and the counter to bite it. Honestly was gross. Won’t be visiting again.

Horrible experience. I ordered 3 ice creams, 1 for my mother and another for my GF. I only ever get cookie dough ice cream and they clearly gave me just chocolate chip or have a sad batch of cookie dough with litterally no cookie dough. I asked if they could replace less than what i payed for just to have something i could enjoy and the 15 year old at the register straight up told me no... tried to eat it anyway. Got half way through and brought it back, put it on the counter and told them im all set, i dont like chocolate chip. place is a dump on top of it, would never come back or ever recommend.

I went to Stillwells ice cream in Hampton, NH and it was awesome. You get a lot for the money and reasonable. I’ll be going back there, as we’re able to. There “Death by Chocolate” is to outrageous!

Wheelchair accessibility: It may not have an automatic door but you’re still able to get a handicap person in the building.

This place was nice, but the vibe was a bit off - meaning I didn’t feel very welcome in the space.

The ice cream was good (coffee kahlua brownie with waffle bowl cone and rum raisin), plus their sizes were decent. We got the kiddie size, but honestly could’ve gone with something much smaller!

As for service, the lady behind the counter seemed like she didn’t want to be there, nor wanted to be bothered.

For the atmosphere, it felt like I was unwelcome. We sat outside since another family was eating at the bar inside. Also, there isn’t much seating, so it seems like you should just take your ice cream and go.

Overall, good ice cream, but bad vibes from this place.

Ice cream is not made here, it is Richardson brand. It is okay, not as good as CEO's ice gelato. No creative flavors. I had German chocolate cake and strawberry. Basically supermarket ice cream, rather bland. My husband ordered Death by chocolate and I got a taste of it, it was more flavorful. Both orders were handled incorrectly, paid for cones which were not given and ice cream had to be moved. The space is small, no tables, but has several benches outside.

I went there once with my family and wow, was this good! Lovely vintage signs along the wall and a very large variety of ice creams, Italian ice, and more. Highly recommend!
