401 Tavern has made amazing improvements over the past few years. The food, drinks, and new outdoor dining section make it one of the funnest lunch/dinner spots in Hampton. The cocktail menu is large - with fun drinks. The Spice World Margarita is my new favorite - although I wish their drinks were stronger. The food menu has never disappointed me. We love the pulled chicken nachos, quesadillas, and a variety of mac n' cheese dishes. I would have never recommended this place...
Food was excellent. A little disappointed that they don’t serve french fries and they don’t have Merlot. But other than that service was good and so wasn’t the food. Despite no fries ?
The 401 Tavern offers tasty food, served in reasonable sized portions. There were seafood appetizers and one seafood based sandwich.
