My husband and I always stop at diners and mom&pop type restaurants when we travel. We decided on The Bench this morning and were so happy we did. We both got the Bourbon Street Biscuit Dip. I wish I took pictures, but believe me when I say this was a beautiful display of handmade cheddar biscuits, cajun bacon, perfectly cooked egg, crispy home fries, and the best sausage gravy you’ll get up north! Love this place! It's very clean, Bright and Cheery, great window seats.Food is very good! Staff's very pleasant and do a great job! We made a special trip from Winthrop MA. It was worth it!

This place has upped its game in the last couple years. I walked in to a modern, revitalized restaurant... Smiling faces, and the best ham and cheese omelet, that I remember, ever enjoying every bite... #winner! ?
