Very nice place, quiet with excellent staff and food. Went for Restaurant Week and curated menu had good value and good cross section from the menu.
We had a great dining experience in the past, but the last couple of times we were much less enthused. We tried a few of the specialty cocktails-all were underwhelming. The food took a long time to come out and appeared to have been sitting for a while getting cold. Manchego croquettes were not good- perhaps a higher quality cheese would be in order. The soft boiled egg with the caesar salad was not soft boiled, and the chocolate sauce served with malted ice cream had a very bitter profile. Steak not served medium as someone had ordered. Lots of small things added up to make it less than memorable. The best bite of the evening was the pot de creme.
We had Cambells as our server and as much as the food was great He and our hostess made the dinner even more exceptional than just he food
We were four people for a dinner reservation at 7:15 pm on last Friday night. Our waiter was nice and outgoing however when taking our drink orders only took a portion and eventually brought a taste of a beer to be determined to be ordered and then walked away from the table before we could say yes. Didn't return to take the beer order for several minutes. Then when coming back with the beer now 7:40 took our appetizer order. We were never delivered the feta dip that we had ordered but did receive an array of apps on a plate that was very good however the octopus was so small it was laughable there were two pieces approximately 3 inches in length and 1.5 inches wide. It is now past 8:30 at night we order a bottle of wine to go with our dinners but still our dinner order is not taken. At 9pm we had not seen our waiter in some time so I went inside to see if we could move inside and possibly get better service. We were moved inside and we ordered our dinner. The pork was fantastic . The burrata salad was so peppery that it was inedible and there was the smallest chicken leg delivered on the burrata salad plate that was supposed to be a separate app. We sent it back it was tiny and looked dry and again inedible. The French fries were covered in pepper as well and the crab bisque that I have had several times in the past was a greenish color and tasted nothing like the one that I have returned to Tinos several times just to have. When we asked about the bisque I was treated like I knew nothing and was told the chef had been there for ten years and he would come to our table to talk to us. I said no thank you! Our friends were eating the French fries because they were very hungry at this point and the host took them off the table as our friend was putting one in her mouth and said well if you don't like then I will take them away . Literally almost out of her hand. We are so disappointed and think the management should know.
Service: from the moment we arrived until the moment we left, both the waitress and the hostess were friendly and attentive! Food: if I were to rate the dishes, I'd give them 10 out of 10000000 The beef carpaccio is the second best I've ever had: light, not raw-tasting, well-seasoned and something I could eat all the time! The short ribs stew and pork chops OH my God! Creative, flavorful and light dishes where you can truly taste the quality of the food Congratulations to the chef, sous chef and the whole team My husband and I recently moved to Hampton and Tinos was our first restaurant and it's definitely the one we'll keep going to
A Truly Exceptional Dining Experience! Our party of four had an absolutely wonderful evening here. We started with the warm feta dip, which was rich, creamy, and perfectly seasoned—a fantastic start to the meal. For our entrées, we ordered the short rib stew, pan-seared cod, Greek fish stew, and squash ravioli. Every dish was expertly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor. It's rare that a table of four can each find their meal equally outstanding, but this restaurant delivered on all fronts. Our server, JR, was personable, attentive, and had an excellent sense of pacing—allowing us to fully enjoy each course without ever feeling rushed. We also sampled a few of the signature cocktails, and they were just as impressive as the food—creative, balanced, and delicious. From start to finish, this was a flawless dining experience. We're already looking forward to coming back—again and again!
JR did a great job serving our table last evening. He was attentive and very personable. Both the short rib dish and bolognese were excellent. We always enjoy dining at Tinos.
Tinos Restaurant offers a remarkable dining experience that truly stands out in the culinary landscape. From the moment we arrived, the staff provided exceptional service, demonstrating a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Their attentiveness and knowledge of the menu enhanced our meal, as they offered thoughtful recommendations tailored to our preferences. The ambiance of Tinos is inviting and sophisticated, creating the perfect backdrop for a memorable evening. Each dish we ordered was a testament to the chef's skill, showcasing fresh ingredients and innovative flavors that delighted our palates. Overall, Tinos Restaurant excels not only in its gastronomic offerings but also in the warmth and professionalism of its staff. This combination makes for an unforgettable dining experience that I highly recommend to anyone seeking excellence in both service and cuisine. Carmel was such a joy and we will look forward to her visiting us in Idaho! Josh the soux chef is related to us! What a crazy coincidence! Thanks again!
Consistently creative, delicious food. Staff is wonderful and works to make your evening special. It was our Anniversary last week and we were presented with champagne just after we were seated. Really set the tone for a lovely evening!
The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. There's a diverse menu and lots of local ingredients. The cocktails were great, and our server also made a couple drinks that were off menu, but should be on menu. They're not afraid of big tastes or creativity.

We had a lovely dinner for our Thursday evening date night. The restaurant was more crowded than we expected, so we were seated at not the best table in the house. Understandable. We waited for about fifteen minutes before our drink order was taken. From then on the service was very good. Ordered an excellent bottle of wine and it arrived promptly. We enjoyed a meze serving of spanakopita pie to start. Very tasty and paired well with our wine. Then moved onto the avgolemono soup. It was just OK. Could have used more orzo and lemon and it needed to be thickened, as in traditional recipes. It was served steaming hot which was very appropriate on this rainy and chilly evening. Very much enjoyed the slow braised lamb shank tagliatelle and my wife enjoyed her salad along with a serving of the roasted octopus. Unfortunately, no room left for dessert. Will have to save some room for dessert the next time we visit.
We had a delightful experience at Tino's last night. We shared the beef carpaccio, then each had one of the soups. I opted to have the spanakopita as my main meal, and husband got the cod. Everything was delicious - my husband is a very fussy diner and he raved about his dinner. I haven't heard him this enthusiastic about a meal for a long time. The portions were excellent. We both could have taken some home but it was so good we both finished (and even got dessert). Service was excellent. It was so pleasant to be in an environment where we could have a conversation and easily hear each other. We already plan to bring back friends as we all struggle with restaurants with noisy environments. We will actually be able to have conversations here. We highly recommend Tino's.
Had an excellent experience at Tino's. Their steak meals are very tender and delicious. Appetizers we had were warm feta dip which is outstanding and squash blossom which tasted nice. Fish special was also ordered for a main and was excellent as well but think we like the fish stew meal even more. Genuine, kind and prompt service. This became one of our favorite places.
Best place in the area for sure. Everything was really well done. Food was great and service was perfect.
