Didn’t expect a lot from a college town like Dartmouth so this one was surprisingly good
Great food just very small portions! Very delicious!
We stopped in at 6pm on a Saturday night and though we didn't have reservations they worked out a spot for us; We ordered three vegetarian tapas plates all of which were delicious! The food came fast and the waiter was friendly. It's located right next to a parking structure which was handy in the freezing cold.
Okay I don’t even like Brussels spourts but they are amazing here and I can’t wait to come back for more! Excellent and friendly server.
We were staying at Six South Hotel in Hanover and were told of this restaurant. They were able to accommodate us early in the evening and it was Taco Tuesday. We shared a few excellent appetiziers and then I had a beef taco and a bang bang shrimp taco and they were the best tacos I have ever had. Simply delicious. My wife also had the flan for desert that was excellent. Oh, I had the mahi mahi taco for desert and that was great too.
Delicious up-scale food in a relaxed, undecorated environment. Incredibly friendly and skilled waitstaff with the right amount of attentiveness. Great for dates and fun eating with friends. Recommend the brussels sprouts, chori sliders, shrimp, and churro's.
Very overpriced drinks and food. Tastes decent, but small portion sizes.
I don't normally write any reviews, but our dining experience here tonight was outstanding! Every single dish we ordered was top notch and the service was amazing. We were excited to order the chicken empanadas as we had looked over the menu earlier that day, however they were all out so our server suggested the brussel sprouts. Thank goodness for that because they were the best roasted brussel sprouts we've ever had! Would 100% recommend this tapas lounge to anyone visiting the area, it is the best food you'll find in Hanover/Lebanon!
Great tapas restaurant. We were in Hanover, NH for one night and made reservation at Candela’s based on positive online reviews we read. We had a great experience with excellent and delicious food and really good wine. Jimmy host/owner and Zoe our waitress treated us like family. The ropa vieja, fish tacos, shrimp in garlic sauce and rest of the small dishes we sampled were excellent. Zoe was very knowledgeable and helpful on wine selections and pairing with our dishes. Can’t wait to go there again in the near future!
Owner was great and food was unbelievable! Definitely recommend

Food was outstanding! Service was adequate—felt a bit rushed and the kitchen closed at 8:30 (our reservation was at 7:45). Granted, the food came quick and it was delicious but there was no opportunity for one more drink or extra favorite dish. Owner very friendly. If you’re around Dartmouth, I highly recommend stopping here for some great tapas.
Amazing food and staff! Best hidden find in the Upper Valley.
Our party collectively ordered 6 or 7 varieties of tapas and all were delicious. We highly recommend Candela Tapas
A great spot to catch a small bite! We actually stopped In shortly after 3p to grab something small to hold us till dinner.Delicious tapas plates best shared with friends. We had the empanada (pictured) which was great. The flavors of the empanada and of the sauce made you want more. We also tried the Chori sliders, 2 bundles of goodness. Again, really good flavors working in this dish. Finally we had the mahi-mahi fish tacos, De Pescado. The fish was fresh and cooked well. Slight crunch on the outside but cooked all the way through. After the first dish, I failed at taking photos as my party tore into the succeeding plates after the empanadas. What was clear is that the dishes were so scrumptious, we wanted more.
Sangria was good, but the food was very over-priced.
