We chose Jessie's because we were on vacation and this place sounded perfect for dinner, reviews were good. We waited for a bit for our server, we ordered drinks and the LIT had little to no alcohol mostly sour mix. I ordered the French onion soup it was great, the meal was another story! The orange chicken tasted like it had been grilled and watered down orange sauce poured over, the veggies were fried to a crisp or whatever, had no taste and the brown rice little taste as well. My husband ordered a sangria and it tasted more like a hard liquor drink. The clam chowder was cooked too much like chewing rubber, his meal was smoked meatloaf and it was very bland, my husband left half his as well. Not only did this leave a bad taste in our mouths but in our wallet as well and I left hungry.

If you don’t meet the usual “steakhouse demographic” be prepared for extremely below par service. Front of house will treat you like you don’t exist. They will deliberately find customers that fit their image and give them table in front of your eyes after telling you they are full. Bar service is great, if front of house pretends you are worth anything whatsoever. Extremely disappointing after having been there multiple times and being treated with the same poor front of house service.

We come to Jesse's at the very least every 2 months. I have to say this was one of the worst meals and service we have ever had. First it took 15 minutes before the server even came and gave us bread or asked us for drink orders. Second we ordered a salad with out goat cheese. It came with goat cheese had to send it back to get a new one. My onion soup was not great. 4 or maybe a couple more onions in the whole serving and taste was bland. Then my pasta with pesto had so much pesto and sauce it was not great at all. No tomatoes in it like it should have. There was no sense in trying to get out waiter as he was never around. Not sure how we would fell about coming back. If so i sure would hope it to be better.

Our first time to Jesse's at Hanover NH location...ambiance is great warm and inviting, large outdoor seating. The prime rib and our waiter Ryan was excellent! This restaurant was packed but service was speedy and food was well prepared & served hot, best meal in Upper Valley !

Brought the inlaws, cuz they wanted seafood. It was amazing. Best place so far in the upper valley for nice seafood dishes. Our waitress was so nice, and attentive. The asparagus fries will haunt my dreams (in a good way)
I've been going to this place since 2015. I have never had a bad experience at this amazing restaurant. They are consistently a five star rating for atmosphere and food quality. Price and portions are an excellent value. The restaurant itself has a feel of an old fashioned hunting and trapping lodge. The staff is professional and friendly. I highly recommend trying this restaurant, reservations are recommended especially on the weekends
