Had the seafood risotto, it was fantastic. Had a server named Amita I believe and they were terrific. Great good, great service, I’d go again in a heartbeat.

Great place for after hours drinks and socializing. The bartenders are kind and offer great service. The music variety is diverse and the aura welcoming.

My husband and I made our reservation for two at 6pm. When we arrived, there was a table for two open by the window. The hostess said ‘that table is reserved for a date' so she wouldn't seat us there. I didn't see that option ‘need date table' on open table. So when we left at 7:15, this date table was still empty....maybe they broke up ?. In the future accommodate your reservations. When I asked for lemon for our water, we received lemon half way through our meal. I ordered special, brisket over cornbread. Since the cornbread was cold, like it was just taken out of fridge, the entire plate was cold. I commented to our waitress who made no effort to correct it. My husband had fish & chips—greasy. We come to Hanover 1x per month. We won't return to Murphy's, better options are available.

Incredibly inattentive service to our table and all around. Salads with chicken were uneditable due to how dry they were and nearly impossible to chew and swallow. Burgers mediocre and came out cold before the side salad that had been ordered as an appetizer. Nachos basically chips and cheese. Crème brûlée straight nasty. Again on the service: deplorable and all the tables around us experienced same ghost of a server. Avoid.

We arrived at brunch and were seated immediately. A firendly (but not too friendly) server took our orders. The food was quite good and the ambience was relaxed and Ivy-League-folksy. We intend to return soon.

1. Murph burger: server did not ask how we wanted it cooked, and we only realized it too late. It was cooked well done, my companion said it was “so-so”. 2. “Moroccan” chicken: I was excited for this but unfortunately had to return it. A whole chicken breast, overcooked, stiff and dry; covered by a thin layer of ok sauce; on a bed of large grain couscous. The latter was the worst part, undercooked, to me it tasted like bleach, my companion said “it has zero flavor, not even some salt”

Always fantastic food. An upscale pub keeping the great Irish vibe.
Great service, she went out of her way to make us feel at home. Food was ok, skip French onion and the crème brûlée unless you like over cooked and over salty. Fish n chips was decent very much a pubby place
Fantastic meal at Murphy's Server was new bit covered all the bases. Food was great fresh fish and smash burgers were fire ? If you are in Hanover this is must visit Park by the green and its a quick walk over to a Hanover institution

Absolutely not. The service was slow when we went. My burger was overcooked & the server was lovely & got me a new one which was equally bad. Good ambience but the food was terrible and not worth the price

Irish Pub in appearance and bar offerings only. Food menu was American bar food and had two items that would be traditional Irish fare but, the stew fell short on tastes and ingredients. The burger and fries and pulled pork sammy were good. Buffalo wings appeared popular at adjacent tables.

Been coming here for years, I used to always order their Murph Burger. When I ordered it with my usual temperature request, medium rare, the waitress informed me that they no longer cook it to the guest’s request and instead all burgers are cooked “medium to medium well as a system standard”. I ordered it anyway. The burger came out well done. What a way to ruin a good thing! Needless to say, I will not order it again.
