We dined here to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We have not been here in some time. The experience did NOT disappoint.
From the moment we arrived, we were promptly greeted, wished a happy anniversary & seated.
They have a nice wine list to choose from. We shared truffle parmesan fries to start. For entrees, we chose the cauliflower puttanesca, which was amazing. Beautifully plated, with vibrant flavors that made this shine. We also chose the braised shortrib, which was accompanied by creamy parmesan potato gnocchi. This was equally delicious.
What really set this dining experience apart was the service. Taking note that we were there to celebrate a special occasion, acknowledging it by the host, server, and then the manager was an extra special touch. We were given a complimentary dessert ( a decadent chocolate cake) that was served/plated with a message of happy anniversary wishes. Nice touch, Pine! ;)
We could have chosen to celebrate at a variety of restaurants in the area, but we were both very satisfied that we ended here for the beautiful surroundings, delicious food & attention to detail/service we received.
We will be returning for sure.

Waited over 45 minutes for our food for breakfast; bacon was burnt and so was one of my pancakes ; poached eggs were overcooked; hash browns also burnt!

Delicious dishes. Great service. We went on a Friday evening at the end of August, and it was packed. We made a reservation ahead of the time, and we were glad we did. Salmon and Halibut were both fabulous, and the desserts (chocolate moose and keylime tart) were excellent as well! It was our wedding anniversary, and they gave us a signed card and two tickets for complimentary drinks for future. 👍

A good place for a comfortable lunch but the menu, which rarely changes, is rather limited and, for vegetarians at least, nothing stands out. Service is always good even though the new management (Dartmouth no longer runs it) fired our longtime favorites several months ago. We go primarily because it is convenient and comfortable.

Very easy going vibe. Food was great. Took a client here - the crab cakes were legit and the clam chowder was good and well portioned. Service was attentive and professional and top notch. (Brandon!). It’s attached to the Inn and the prices reflect hotel restaurant pricing but I’ll be back.

We stay at the Hannover Inn very often and eat at Pine every time. The menu hasn’t changed in e very long time and the previous menu was so much better than the current one. The food was better before, not much seasoning lately. It’d be nice to see new dishes more often, even bringing back the previous menu that was so good!! The service outside has been awful, the waiters disappear on us, which is a completely different experience we have when we sit inside where the service is always great.

We stayed at the Hanover Inn last night and ate dinner and breakfast at Pine. The Poached Pear Chevre Salad, Creamy Summer Chicken and Shrimp Scampi were all excellent. Our waiters, Milton and Tony, were older gentlemen with attention to detail and class; they reminded me of the waiters from a bigone, and better, era in America. 10 out of 10.

We stayed at the Hanover Inn and had a convenient lunch downstairs in the PINE restaurant. The Poached Pear salad (red looking) with the two fried chevre cheese balls, mixed greens, almonds, raspberries, prosciutto was fresh, big, and enough for a good lunch. My husband got the quinoa salad with black beans, edamame, corn, and it was huge and kept him filled until dinner.

I liked the decor of the restaurant with the huge wooden beams in the ceiling.

Great ambiance and a good selection of pescatarian dishes. Super accommodating of my food allergy. The cocktails were outstanding and creative. We may make this our new, special occasion/date night spot. Thanks for an amazing evening!!!

Food was good and the service was even better. Hard to say if this is the case all time, as our party ate a late lunch so there were very few customers. Everything was prepared quickly (even though there were 11 at our table). The menu has good variety and everything is tasty. I would recommend the truffle fries, they do not disappoint.
