Solid traditional pizza restaurant that also has GF vegan pizza. My omnivore daughter ordered the Caesar salad and Bianca pizza, rating both, “really good”. I got the 12" Gluten Free NY Pizza, which is cooked on foil to avoid gluten cross-contamination. The vegan cheese is good and the GF crust is crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. #Veganuary

We went here for lunch today - had the garlic knots and a few slices of pizza.
I probably had too much expectation for the place. The garlic knots were oily and didn't seem baked all that well. The various pizza slices (we tried the veggie, bianca, margherita and the mushroom) were basically bland (the veggie wasn't even properly salted) and hardly had any toppings. It was all just blah.
Probably would not go here again.
Vegetarian options: There are a fair amount of vegetarian options, but they all taste the same - all bland.

Not the best new York style in the area. It's fine. The atmosphere and service are some of the best in the area for sure though.

Waited over an hour for mediocre, doughy pizza with flavorless sauce. Ordered a mushroom slice to eat while waiting, which took 20 minutes to get and was a cheese slice with raw mushrooms thrown on top, no exaggeration at all on “raw” here. My 10 and three year old kids didn’t even like their cheese slices- rubbery flavorless cheese my toddler couldn’t even bite through. Wish this area had more than one option for pizza.

I got the buffalo chicken calzone and the meat calzone. The buff chicken was amazing, but I found the meat one a little underwhelming. I think it needed more meatball and less pepperoni.
Service sucked. I ordered ahead online but they didn't fire it up until you get there. As a result, I had to wait almost half an hour to get my food. It was piping hot -- which I appreciate -- but what is the point of ordering ahead if you have to wait for them to start preparing it only once you get there?

The food here is pretty good, but the service isn’t. When I ordered, they acted as though we were wasting their time, and were all very grumpy. I was then waiting for the pizza, and after about 10 minutes I realized it was sitting at the far end of the counter. They never called me up to get it. The garlic nots were also not heated up enough, and were not even warm inside
Mind that I am a young teen so don’t let the review stop you from going. The food is really good

Restaurantji Recommends
We placed a to go order at the restaurant, it was clean, nicely decorated, and had a lot of indoor and outdoor seating options. We ordered a brick sized “little Hanover” . It is enough for two people to tackle as they are thin pizzas. The light tomato, cheese, and ham combined perfectly on the warm dough. Well made and came out within 10 minutes. Would recommend !

Banger garlic knot pizza
Calm and quiet at 430pm, I didn't have to wait at all. Half of the prepared pizzas are vegetarian. The recommendation from the staff was for two unorthodox slices, the Buffalo chicken with blue cheese sauce, and the Thai sweet chili with pepperoni, bacon, and chicken. The total for two slices and a drink was $11, which is really cheap to me. But the quality! The crust is crunchy on the bottom and chewy on top, absolutely perfect. The blue cheese sauce with the Buffalo chicken pieces combine perfectly to have a hot wing experience that isn't greasy and messy. The sweet chili sauce is very sweet, and it is exceptional. Save that piece for last, as a nod to dessert. ❤️

Straight-forward pizza join in Hanover. Not many(any?) ready made vegan pizzas available, but you can pick your own toppings and build your own fresh baked pizza with vegan cheese. The prep and cooking time is about what you would expect for a fresh pizza; probably around 25 minutes. I forget exactly how much I paid, I think somewhere around 14$ for a very reasonably sized pizza. I ordered a pineapple on cheese pizza. Overall one of the best pizzas I've had over a long time of being vegan. The crust was great and everything else was standard(that is to say, good). The restaurant is spacious, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I only ate as a pair, but I expect it would be a decent spot for larger groups. I plan to come back here the next time I'm in the Hanover area. Updated from previous review on 2024-06-10
