Loved it here! Great vibes and even better food. The Hattie Be Damned sandwich is hot and so good I wanted two. Also got the one without cheese salad and it was phenomenal. I’ll be back for sure

great live entertainment, and they keep it in a separate area so if you didn't want that, it's not forced on you.

Service could not have been better but the food is absolutely inedible. People need to take some personal pride in what they put out bc the whole meal tasted like dog food.
Ordered: chicken and corn chowder. Received a brownish grey color of thick slop that had barely any corn and was filled with greasy dark meat chicken. It tasted gamey and gross.
Ordered: grilled Cesar salad with fried chicken. The salad was ok, the dressing is not Cesar dressing. It was oily and not tasty. The croutons will break your teeth. And the chicken? Looked like it had been cooked three times over, was hard and completely inedible. Dry. And disgusting.
rack of ribs: no comment. These were disgusting too. Not edible.
Even the tater tots tasted like they were cooked in old or dirty oil. Could not enjoy those either.

Absolutely delicious! I think this is one of the best meals in the area from cocktails to apps to entrees. Great staff too. Really impressed.

Great food. Only thing I don't like and I keep forgetting that I don't like it is the mac and cheese. There's almost no taste of cheese in the mac and cheese. Needs some sharp cheddar or something to pep it up. The events they hold are such a blast. The service is typically great but sometimes it seems like the waitstaff are overwhelmed and impatient during events, which is understandable.

Went for a bite and comedy show. They started the comedy performance with staff announcing that they needed the host make sure the audience had paid for admission. Totally inappropriate! Show was small and local but fun. Sawtooth needs to improve their professionalism. Food was decent but the focus was on cute female wait staff and not customer experience.

The management NEEDS to add a TV in this bar. Went here for dinner, got the burger and dressed greens. Burger was good, greens had wayyyy too much dressing. Mac and cheese was subpar.
This was the second time I had ever been to this restaurant my first experience here was awsome. I came in with my partner and friends. We waited 15 minutes for the single bartender to come over and start service with us, got our drinks they were good, at 815 pm we looked at the clock, all 4 of us were waiting for service, people were walking up to the bar ordering drinks and getting served immediately as well as folks sitting down ordering food and drinks eating whole meals, paying and leaving. Looked at the clock at 844pm the four of us had been waiting 35 minutes for the bartender, server anyone to come over and ask if we needed anything else. NOTHING not a glance, not a hey you guys good literally nothing completely ignored where we were sitting. In the 35 minutes we sat waiting for another round of drinks WE WERE STARING AND TRYING TO MAKE EYE CONTACT TO HAVE HIM COME OVER. Multiple people had 2 drinks ate meals paid and left and we were still waiting for service and people walking up to the bar were served repeatedly.
Hanover is a high traffic area and we understand especially as kitchen workers that it gets wicked busy. But the amount of time we sat ignored without any service and then were asked if we wanted our bills is really disappointing. We were all ready to order more food and drinks. Maybe food for thought to have another bartender I don't know? But what was supposed to be a fun time out just turned into a miserable waiting game for service.

Very kind staff who was happy to tell this tourist all about their town.
Got an app, entree and dessert with my wife and we loved all of it. Poutine was great and not too much gravy. I got the 4 boneless chicken, biscuit and mac and cheese. As a man from the south, that was one of the best biscuits I’ve ever had. Lots of flavor with the chicken as well. Finished the night with the skillet cookie, and was almost in a food coma.
We weren’t there on a live music night sadly, but that would be another plus if you find yourself lucky enough to go during a show!

Really underrated bar scene. Menu is (for the area especially) creative and diverse. Very well executed, genuinely friendly and attentive staff, great beer and cocktail selection. Coming from Portland Oregon, they are a welcome oasis in the NE food desert.

Locals that want to bully you out of the venue, bartenders that are prejudice against anyone that isn’t from their walk of life

I think in theory, the food should be good. It was ok, good for a college town. The corn chowder tasted like green pepper chowder, not sure if that was on purpose or not. Atmosphere was spot on! Really cool place on the inside, great decorations. I’m not sure if our server was having a bad day or if she is always how she was with us but hands down, our experience would have been much better if I didn’t dread every time they came over. No smile, they looked bothered and like they didn’t want to be there, and my husband said they had no table-side manner. I am a public servant myself. I know how unkind and entitled people can be, I try not to be that way as a patron. Maybe this server is having a better day today, hopefully. We will give it one more try, maybe it was just the day.

It took me a long while to think about writing this review. I've been in the business for about 20 years and didn't want to be "that" guy. My buddy and I swung thru here on a road trip this past Fri night. It was busy but the ambience was great. We got lucky enough to not have to wait as there were two open seats at the bartop. We were quickly and warmly greeted by the slender gentleman behind the bar with a mullet. Drinks took a minute as to be expected due to the volume. We ordered shortly after and service quickly deteriorated from there. we ordered an app and two cups of soup. The bartender repeated it, memorized it , then took one of those portable tablets to put the order in. Why not just put it in the tablet as you take the order? what's the point of having the tablet? Apps come out and my buddy orders another beer. Bartender proceeds to take drink orders at the well serving other guests. Around 10 mins pass. We call him back, turns out he forgot his beer. No big deal. We proceed to order the mains.I order Jerk chicken sandwich, sub slaw for fries add a side of corn bread. My buddy orders a quarter chicken with two sides and another beer.Same deal, repeats, memorize it THEN puts it in the pad. We wait another while as the bartender serves other guests and he forgot the beer A SECOND TIME. Our food comes out minus the jerk sandwich. After a little while and he asks us if we need anything but before we could we respond he turns and serves other guests. My buddy wanted sauce and another beer and becomes agitated by the service. A little while passes and we were finally able to order another beer. My buddy just ate his food dry at this point because it took so long to get back to us. He didnt forget the beer this time though.I ask about the sandwich and OF COURSE he forgot to order it. What's the point of those tablets if you aren't gonna use them. At least write the order down? Just have a POS instead?I was extremely confused. My sandwich finally arrives but I ask for a box as we have to hit the road which was a shame because I wanted to try the creme brulee that was on special. We were here over an hour at least at this point. The bill arrived and my buddy said we should've got something comp'ed at least in "colorful" language. He was upset but I didn't want to escalate things. We tipped 20% but that's actually a low tip from us as we usually tip our fellow industry people significantly more. Again, this review was difficult to write. Maybe my guy behind the bar was new? He definitely needs more training at least
