I ordered the kimchi sweet potatoes hash wrap! pretty decent! also got the cakey vegan brownie which was AMAZING and probably one of the best vegan brownies I’ve had!
If you want a good breakfast sandwich in the Upper Valley go somewhere else. Maybe anywhere else. Eggs were rubbery and possibly even microwaved. Chorizo was some sort of patty that more closely resembled a piece of tofu. Cheese was barely detectable. I’ve had good sandwiches from The Nest in the past, but take a miss on the breakfast ones.
This place is the worst. Long waits, no system for taking names. 4 people were sat before us though we were waiting longer. Then the 4 after us were served food before us. Then ordered a chorizo/jack burrito and the kitchen “forgot to put the chorizo in”. Two hours total in there, never once was refilled coffee or water. Wish I could give 0 stars for the zero Fs this place gives

We have had three amazing experiences at the Nest! The staff is so kind and thorough; a rarity these days! We have loved both the restaurant and the new cafe space. Support the Nest!!! Our area needs a solid place like this!!!

Excellent parmesean chive scone. Just really great. The iced coffee was also very good. I don’t think they have cold brew but still a solid coffee shop.
They took forever to make a takeout sandwich when there was only one other person ordering. Then when I got my sandwich they had my order completely wrong.

Have been waiting over 45 minutes for a bagel and avocado toast…i could’ve raised the chickens by now
I’m from CT. This place is only getting two stars because the food was good. However. Food took over 30min for us to get it mind you no one was there except for us. Poor service as well. Cashier didn’t seem knowledgeable in how to take basic orders. Seems they have a training issue. Was never asked if we wanted our food for there or to go. When the food was done they left it in the counter near the cashier and never told us the food was ready. Why wait over 30 min for a bagel and small under size burrito ? Avoid this place until they clean up their training issues and professionalism.

I didn’t LOVE the tempeh BBQ sandwich only because it was so small for the amount I paid for…. The vegan blueberry scone is always yummy though! The service was pretty good and fast though! There is cute seating inside and outside.

Coffee was excellent, and food was really good and the people were super friendly. Service was just extremely slow and they weren't that busy. And while not the fault of the Nest or the people that work there, but patrons were loud, rude and obnoxious. It would actually keep us from going back, although I would certainly give it another chance hoping this was an unusual day
The food is awesome, but when you think that you’re only waiting half an hour for a sandwich, and you end up repeatedly waiting an hour+ for a sandwich….it’s very frustrating. If you want to waste hours of your day because you have nothing else planned, totally go for it. If you have a schedule you need to stick to, don’t go here. Just a warning.
The green salad with beets, chèvre and pistachios is consistently light on greens. It doesn’t seem to compare with other Hanover eateries.
Wow! Stopped in Hanover for a quick lunch and found The Nest. Best road trip find ever. If you’re looking for fresh, delicious, locally sourced food, this is a great choice. Their Roasted Beet Reuben was out of this world savory. Grilled cheese with apple and bacon also a winner. We’re looking forward to stopping in on our next road trip.
My favorite local sandwich shop ? they're great for breakfast and lunch. The beet Reuben is good, the tofu club, the green heron, etcTheir coffee and baked goods are also delicious
Vegetarian options: They have a great selection of vegan and vegetarian sandwiches
