I have probably been to Ump’s one thousand times. Birthplace of beautiful pastries and delicious, uniquely named sandwiches. I adore the handmade paintings displayed around the dining area, and the big wooden beams. One of the coziest little places in town with the ambience of coffee-grinding and small talk. An establishment fit for all ages and humors; a Hanover staple for certain.
This is by far the best bakery in town! The food is delicious and always comes out promptly, and the staff are always friendly.
The Bertie Wooster is my favorite sandwich.

The coffee and food here are both excellent, and it has a wonderful small town rustic atmosphere. My only complaint is that it is heinously understaffed, such that I ended up waiting about 45 minutes for a sandwich after paying.

Our family of four stopped here for breakfast when we were in the area for a one night stop. What a delightful cafe! The croissants were especially delicious and unlike many bakeries they offered to warm our pastries. The barista did a wonderful job crafting our coffees. All three of the employees we interacted with were very friendly and hospitable - like southern hospitality!

A perfect little spot for a delicious local meal! The sandwiches are very good and, in my opinion, reasonably priced. What really stood out to me, though, was the atmosphere. The art on the walls, the arrangement of seating, and the nice dishes were truly the cherry on top that made the entire experience worthwhile. Highly recommend for a little treat!
