It was a dim and dingy coffee shop. Everyone seems to like the atmosphere per the reviews, but I don't really see it.
Pastry case was sad and smudgy. Tables were a little dirty (but I get being understaffed for this part though). I got an iced vanilla latte - it was adequate.
Perhaps the food is better.

Cute little café. Got breakfast sandwiches and coffee here. The real gems though are the muffins (the blueberry muffin was not too sweet) and the Brit/Aus style pies - we got the artichoke and mushroom one and I wish I had gotten more. They all looked so good. Not dense at all and full of flavour

The worst sandwich shop I have been to, unfortunately. Small expensive sandwiches with limited flavor. Save your money and take your service somewhere else. I would recommend The Nest!

How to make the most mid cafe ever 101. Food is ok, nothing special. Sandwiches are generally bad, but breakfast sandwiches are ok. Pastries are all mediocre, there are better options in town. The wifi is awful. How a cafe can have wifi as bad as umplebees is crazy. Literally anywhere in the world outside of Hanover they would go out of business. Coffee is also mediocre. Wait times on weekends can be 30+ mins, it is simply not worth the wait in any sense. The worst restaurant/cafe in Hanover by far.

Our German conversation group meets here weekly. The staff is excellent: fast, competent and always friendly. They go the extra mile. The pastries are awesome. The breakfast sandwiches will fuel you for the toughest day.
