Lovely looking little restaurant but the food is terrible! I didn't expect it would be up to NY or Boston standards but it was truly awful. This wasn't the waitstaff's fault however. This dishes are a conglomeration of things that don't mix, like carrots in a rice pilaf which came as the side dish to Chicken Marsala instead of a linguine or other pasta. Perhaps the owner has his hand in the chefs domain or they don't pay enough for a decent chef? Who can say? The Bar was lovely if you don't want a "complicated" drink. 😊

Two people, three alcoholic drinks, and food was average at best. Totally cost - $109. Steak was chewy and average, and the shrimp scampi was light on seasoning and tasted off? Best way I could describe is that food quality is very inconsistent.
For instance at lunch we had nachos and they were great. But still very expensive. Lunch was 60 bucks with two alcoholic drinks.
The mixed drinks are hit and miss, maybe a new bartender on staff.

2 1/2 hours for generally mediocre meals. Salmon was ok as were crab cakes. Ravioli served in a flavorless, heated cream - pretty much inedible. Servers were apologetic, but unable to offer any explanation beyond "kitchen is backed up".

Probably won't go back. The restaurant was mostly empty, but there were at least 4 servers and a hostess. The waitress dropped off waters and immediately walked away without taking our order. 4 of us were there for lunch. Took her another 10-20 minutes to come back. When she did, she did not understand my dietary restrictions or come back to tell me that they couldn't make my meal how I ordered it. So they brought me a burrito with only rice and guacamole in it, which is not what I ordered. She never came back to check on us and a different waitress handled our bill. I think we were there for at least 90 minutes and it did not seem like the servers were busy. Maybe the kitchen is understaffed. Others at my table thought the food was decent, but the wait ruined the experience. No bread or chips or anything to help until we got our meals. It's a shame because it's such a beautiful location, but it's clearly poorly managed.

I try again every 6 months hoping that’s the time I won’t leave saying “I’m never coming back here again” but it just doesn’t change. The river view is a highlight and the servers are great. The food is good/not bad but not “excellent”. The challenge is that you need to commit a significant part of your day to eat here. Plan for 2hrs. Want a burger? 2hrs. Want a soup and salad? 2hrs. Heck one of the last times I went and got quiche. Just a slice of quiche, not like “make me a quiche” and guess what, almost 2hrs.I live in town and keep wanting to support the restaurant but honestly if I drove to another town and back it would be faster and cheaper.I feel bad for the staff because I just feel like it’s mid-managed.

We went for lunch on Mother's Day, and we're seated immediately in the rear near the bar. We ordered drinks and appetizers and waited an hour for the drinks and appetizers. We then ordered burgers and fries, and after over an hour, the fries were bland and cold. Service was absolutely horrible, and the food was sub-par.
