We were recommended to Daniel's for dinner. We sat in the restaurant area with river view seating. It's a bit drafty by the windows, tables are crowded/ close seating and the seats arn't very comfortable. The food was good but we didn't find it to be worth what we paid. Beautiful presentation and size wasn't too bad. We really enjoyed the homemade bread that came as a side on our dishes most of all.

Condescending staff and what I mean by staff is the owner’s daughter overpriced food not a place. I’d recommend in Henniker. Sonny’s has much better food and much better ambience and they treat the customer a hell of a lot better. Any place in Henniker is better than Danielle’s.

The food was great! The service was great! But i found it to be a bit pricey. My daughter and I went for lunch. 2 fountain drinks, 1 appetizer, 1 soup, and 1 French onion dip sandwich. Grand total = $63.00 before our tip!

Kelsey is the best bartender but the standing ovation is the river right outside. Cozy house in the winter and beautiful for leaf peeping. Great spot to vacation at with the ski mountain and college. She's the best.

Lovely looking little restaurant but the food is terrible! I didn't expect it would be up to NY or Boston standards but it was truly awful. This wasn't the waitstaff's fault however. This dishes are a conglomeration of things that don't mix, like carrots in a rice pilaf which came as the side dish to Chicken Marsala instead of a linguine or other pasta. Perhaps the owner has his hand in the chefs domain or they don't pay enough for a decent chef? Who can say? The Bar was lovely if you don't want a "complicated" drink. 😊

"What the hell do you want me to do?" - The owner verbatim when asked if we could add another two chairs to the table to accommodate family members. It took 2 hours to be served food (seated at 6:30, drinks served to us at 7:00. Orders for dinner were taken at 7:00 and served to us at 9:00 pm. The meals were mediocre and undercooked. When we spoke with the owner at the end of the evening and challenged him that he could have done more to help his hardworking employees, he angrily made excuses, finger-pointed, and justified his rude and unprofessional behavior. We are never going back.

Service was great and very very nice. Professional group and lovely atmosphere. We want to really like this place and will go back to give them another chance.

Two people, three alcoholic drinks, and food was average at best. Totally cost - $109. Steak was chewy and average, and the shrimp scampi was light on seasoning and tasted off? Best way I could describe is that food quality is very inconsistent.

For instance at lunch we had nachos and they were great. But still very expensive. Lunch was 60 bucks with two alcoholic drinks.

The mixed drinks are hit and miss, maybe a new bartender on staff.

The wait staff were friendly and very attentive to our table. The menu has many great looking meal choices and the meals we chose were delicious.

2 1/2 hours for generally mediocre meals. Salmon was ok as were crab cakes. Ravioli served in a flavorless, heated cream - pretty much inedible. Servers were apologetic, but unable to offer any explanation beyond "kitchen is backed up".

Overlooking the river, fabulous cocktails, service and food are just great. Order the crab cakes, all crab, not much cake!
