The food is spectacular! I love the staff at The Grazing Room. They are very accommodating and kind people. Jeff and Emily are a treat to be under the care of.
A server at another restaurant once told me: “your eyes are bigger than your stomach.” After looking at The Grazing Room’s menu, I can see why this is so.
On the first night of staying at the Colby Hill Inn, I ordered the goat herb buttered biscuits which were better than expected. The goat butter melted onto the biscuits. I also ordered the South Indian Vegetarian Platter, which I enjoyed more eating when I went home because it made me miss the food and experience with the staff at The Grazing Room. And I got the Gazpacho & Yucca Fries: they were crunchy and yummy when the lime was spritz atop. Gazpacho was festive, bright, and earthy. Oh yeah—and I ordered the pierogis: the best part of the pierogis was the spiced apple sauce that really highlighted the flavors.
As for the second evening, I ordered a bunch of apps: buttered biscuits, heirloom tomato and watermelon salad (my favorite!), and Oysters on the Half Shell.
The oysters were light, easy to scoop, and fresh. As for the tomato & watermelon salad, you have to try it for yourself—it tastes grander than it looks.
I live in Pennsylvania and was in town for 2 days. I am happy that I dined here for both evenings and would definitely return.

The tenderloin was terrible I asked for medium rare got well done with little flavor my tenderloin was chewy. The oysters were cloudy and we sent them back got another one that looked like they just sprayed water in it. Its over priced too with my tenderloin being 65 bucks.

Enjoyed a Valentine's date night dinner here. The entrees and dessert were amazing! The atmosphere was nice for a quiet dinner. Will definitely be returning in the future.

It's too expensive for all the basic cooking mistakes. I ordered fingerling potatoes cooked in duck fat but received boiled potatoes instead. My wife's potatoe au gratin was cold and for some reason was just sliced potatoes in broth. Our protein was excellent, but applebees could cook me a better side dish. I complained about the au gratin, but then they just reheated it and didn't fix the cooking mistake. I felt uncomfortable continuing to complain beyond that.
I know what confit is, your low key insult is unprofessional and unwanted. You messed up the confit.

Inability to alter or change things. Only serve as designated. For instance, if you wish to substitute or add something, say you want bacon instead of ham as offered on another selection, they will not do it. Say you want it on toast instead of biscuit, they will not do it. Say you see avacodo offered on another selection and you ask it to be used on your selection, they will not do it. It's completely inflexible to change anything to suit the customer's preferences.
Amazing restaurant with awesome service and good. Great for a special night out or celebrating an occasion! 10/10 will recommend

Had a fantastic dinner at the restaurant.Delicious from appetizers to entrees. The biscuits were fabulous. Great scallops served with creamy grits and broccolini. The Indian platter was delicious.Excellent service from Emily who was very friendly and attentive.Highly recommend!

Came here with my husband for dinner. Love that they source local where possible for their menu. Service was patient and attentive.Shared the mushroom toast appetizer - generous portion-size and got my husband and I back into adding them to our regular meals.I had the lamb dish and my husband had the indian-inspired dish. Lamb was sourced from a local farm - and was cooked to perfection.Husband was happy with his food as well.Will definitely be back again!Food & drinks: On the pricier-side but entirely worthwhile

Exceptional offerings and ambiance, the amazing service keeps bringing us back. If you want an excellent evening, reserve a room and enjoy a fabulous meal.
