I had lived in Henniker for 6 years and kept thinking I wanted to go here but never made it. I live in MA now and had to go to Hillsborough and finally stopped in. What a waste of those 6 years not eating here often! I had the sea scallops and onion nuggets. Every bite was so delicious! And extremely generous portions! I will definitely be back!

Great location and set up for kids. Everything else was bad. Food was okay, service was horrible. Nobody was rude but it was like they were all lifeless. Ordered 3 ice cream after dinner, first two came out quick. The 3rd was 15 minutes and melted when it was handed to me. I watched the person make it and proceed to clean the entire flurry machine before she turned around and handed it to me. The portions are tiny and the prices are sky high. Clam/scallop dinner actually made me audibly laugh when I saw it after paying 34 dollars for it. Will never stop again.

Great fresh seafood. Honestly the best clam strips Ive ever had.
Note the rolls have tarter and lettuce on them by default - only place Ive really been to that does this. As someone who has a strong dislike to Tarter, I wish this was clear on the menu.

Very good food, nice and friendly service and customers. Atmosphere feels like a cottage and ship in one.
First time there, seafood is delicious. Large menu, took us a while to choose. Set up like a take out window, they call your number. Two very large seating areas indoors and picnic tables outdoors. Staff is very efficient and friendly. There was a gentleman that went around to the tables asking how we were doing and if we were enjoying our lunch. We had baked haddock and scallops. So tender, perfectly baked. Comes with your choice of side and a roll and coleslaw. They also have an ice cream window. They are seasonal and will be closing Columbus Day. We are planning to go a few more times before then.
