Always great classic American comfort food, with some creative specials tossed in. Service has always been top notch, but on those crazy nights staff can get a little over whelmed, never bad service just slower than usual. Never had a bad meal or a bad drink. The French Onion soup is very good, the very rare special,Cabbage Roll Soup is incredible!!!! I could go there for just that. The soup of the day soup specials are always a highlight for me, and a good way to try something you have never had before. The building once was a sock factory there old photos and artifacts from its past on the walls. Its Hillsboro's best eatery for sure, and one of the best in the area. Call ahead its always busy, But worth the wait.
Always good food and great service.

I’ve been twice with friends and both times the food and drinks were delicious and the service friendly. A lot of care has gone into the establishment and the general vibe of the place is welcoming.
Giving four stars as each time the wait between food was excessive and the second time, it was over an hour before our entrees were served. The wait time was not communicated to us to be long either time, instead our waitress just sort of started avoiding our table.
I don’t really blame them, when we did flag them to ask how long until our food would arrive after 40 minutes, they apologized and said shortly. It was frustrating to watch other tables be sat, served, and prepare to leave while still waiting for our mains however we did order ribs and fish and chips and other tables seemed to go for burgers etc. This was a similar order both times I went.
Please inform your customers if certain items on the menu take longer to cook. Being more straightforward about this on the menu or when ordering would make the whole experience flawless.

Very quaint and cute! Delicious food, staff extremely nice! We'll be back for sure!
A bit loud only cause it’s so small. I love all the old decor hanging on the wall of the history of the building. The food was great, not your usual tastes. I got steak tips and butternut squash. My daughter got the bolognese she liked it, there was chicken in it as well which is a little different.
Parking: It’s a busy place so parking is a little bit of a challenge but there is plenty of spots around the restaurant,

Great food but horribly overpriced. 2 people to eat is a $60 minimum.
Great service, they had great music on the intercom. The best coleslaw I ever had in my life. And cooked the burger to perfection. Oh yeah, the deal was ice cold too.
