Very friendly and great food and drink! Small place but a must stop. Also a good selection of beer.

Must have reservations even if the parking lot is not full. They said need to call a week in advance.

We can't wait to go back to this family run restaurant. The Jägerschnitzel is out of this world. My wife loves the Cordon Bleu. Everything on the menu we've had has been great!

New England is quite lacking in German restaurants, which is a shame since a place like Bavaria can be really great. The authentic and tasty food here was excellent and we plan to return - probably bringing others. We'd love it if they were open a little more (weekday lunches?).

We so miss good German food! This restaurant made our hearts and bellies happy. So good!! We have to drive 40 minutes to get here, but it’s so worth it!! We had the sauerbraten and Jägerschnitzel.

First of all, make a reservation! I was in town because of the "The Moving Wall", memorial to those who died in Vietnam, including a dear friend ... I was seated because someone was a no show and the owner was gracious enough to rearrange things!! Jill was the server and was a perfect blend of professionalism and style. It was a Saturday and the full menu, plus specials were offered. A late lunch for me and I chose cream of asparagus soup as well as Schnitzel Wiener Art - with roasted potatoes. Everything was perfectly cooked, served and timed, including a cold Gruner from Austria. It reminded me of my many years in Western MA and an old favorite known as the Hofbrauhaus. It was around from 1935 to 2018. These places are treasures - and we need to respect everyone associated with them. I will return, as it is well worth the trip from Nashua. They are genuine!!! Everyone around me, with more experience in German cuisine gave ??up, including the large portions, decor and cleanliness. In was a beautiful salute to my former classmate. ?

I'm lucky to have spent several weeks in Germany over the last 4 years and.... dining at Bavaria was fully as delightful as dining there, only no airfare! Atmosphere and decor are charming, staff friendly and upbeat, but the food was just stunning. I had the cream of leak soup to start and it was lovely. I had to force myself to put the spoon down to breathe. Flawless. Then came the Jaeger schnitzel. Huge, crispy and tender and not oily. What can I say except that Bavaria totally exceeded my very high expectations. Family took me there for my first visit after talking it up for days. Wow. I was humbled by this wonderful dinner experience. Ser ser gute!

Soup was excellent- flavorful and super hot. Service was excellent and the space is immaculately clean. Ample beer and wine selections. I suspect my entrée was covered in Campbell's soup cream of mushroom base- I hate to say that but the look, gloss and flavor was identical . But the pork was cooked ok, the menu is rare for the area and I will go again.

Food was amazing! Waitstaff is wonderful. Hostess/ owner is not. She makes it extremely difficult to eat there. Requires reservations and the 4 times I called I was denied 3 times. I have tried calling weeks in advanced and told no. There is no politeness within her. Any party above 6 is not accepted. She does not care if it is a month away and you are willing to do multiple tables. I wanted my family of 7- the horror! I was told by other people that she was less then friendly with reservations, but the food is delicious. But it is not worth her speaking to me as if I was a toddler rather then someone willing to spend over $400 at her establishment. And yes- it is easy to eat 400 worth of food there!Bottom line- I will not be back and I will tell people not to go back. She is one of the rudest people and should not be in any customer related field. When I go out with my family, I want to enjoy my time. I do not want to be belittled.

I highly recommend avoiding this place. Terrible customer service. Too many other good options in the Manchester area with good food and good service to waste your time trying to deal with this establishment.

I wrote a 3* review in Oct 2018 and we've been back three times since. Each time, the food was outstanding, the service excellent, the desserts incredible, the hostess wonderful. I had to write a new review because one not-great experience shouldn't cause one to write a place off, and I'm glad we returned to give them a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th shot. This will be our regular German eatery from now on, me thinks.

My boyfriend and I had been wanting to try Bavaria for the longest time and finally made the 40 minute drive this past weekend to check it out. We were absolutely blown away by the amazing food and our fabulous waitress, Lisa. We left extremely stuffed and very happy - we can't wait to come back for more!

This restaurant was very impressive over all. Tucked away in a trendy, small, strip mall. The German cuisine choices were wonderful. The veal was so tender & the home made schnitzel was most delicious. Try the salads too! No comparison to your usual tossed salad. It was authentic German food, I would love to eat weekly. Service was done efficiently & respectfully. This restaurant has class. Reservations are recommended for the weekend. I can't say it's a place for little children & big noisy gatherings. It's more for a romantic, quiet dinner time. Prices are compatible to other fine dining restaurants. Not over priced & well worth the experience.
