Food is worth the prices. Must try onion rings! Would like a better cocktail menu and a little more sauce on the wings. Will definitely be going back. Probably a new regular.

We had a wonderful lunch today on our trip back to Massachusetts.
Fast service, friendly people, and great food. If you order a martini, they bring the cutest little display with the glass on ice and the “extra” on the side — basically 2 drinks in one!
The food was fantastic, and we easily could’ve hung out much longer, but the road was calling.
A special shout-out to Andrea, who was amazing and always had an eye on us.
Highly recommend this as a stop on your road trip up and down I-93.
Cheers! 🥂

Stopped in on our way back to MA from Loon. We picked Second Brook for the amazing menu. The moment we walked in we felt at home, Andrea was great so welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and drinks were great too. Highly recommend stopping here if you are looking for something new in the area or traveling up/down 93.

Came here before going to Sig up the street. Had the liver and onions, shepherds pie egg rolls, and buffalo chicken sandwich. All great flavors, tasted very fresh, as if they buffalo'd the live chicken 🤣. Will definitely come back next time im at the track or range. Wish I took pics of my food.

Stopping for the night in Hooksett, NH on our long trek between Acadia and Blackwater Falls, we weren’t expecting culinary greatness — our humble hotel room did not exactly scream “gourmet vacation stop.” But across the road sat Second Brook Bar & Grill, and oh, what a pleasant surprise!
I started with an Old Fashioned that made me question whether I should just move in and ask for a corner booth with my name on it. Smooth, balanced, and downright therapeutic after hours on the road — easily the highlight of the evening.
We shared a trio of comfort-meets-tavern classics:
• Shepherd Rolls (because shepherd’s pie in portable roll form? Genius.)
• Cobb Salad (crisp, hearty, and doing its best to make us feel balanced)
• The Soup Crock of the Day — potato-something delicious and soul-warming
Food? Very good.
Cocktail? Even better.
Atmosphere? Casual, lively, “welcome weary travelers.”
Service? Friendly and relaxed — exactly what we needed.
Second Brook is the kind of place that turns “just a travel stop” into a cozy memory. If you find yourself in Hooksett, don’t overthink it. Just walk across the road and have yourself a good meal and an even better drink. 🍸🥗🧡

First time here! Absolutely delicious meal! I got the coconut chicken wrap. Not always a fan of goat cheese, but it was not over powering! My husband got the French Dip. Both the chicken and the beef were extremely tender. The Pumpkin Russian and Ghost Margarita that we had were delicious also! Definitely on our radar to return!

There were four of us... We got there about 11:30, for lunch. The hostess was very pleasant and escorted us to our table. Our server, was Emma and she was wonderful... Attentive, personable, professional and brought a welcoming nature to us. We were told that the Reuben was great so, two ordered that... My wife had the spinach salad with chicken... What they didn't finish there, came home... All very good. I had the haddock chowder and the egg roll special...I was not disappointed.

Met friends here for lunch. Food was good but…..the waitress was very annoying, hovering and joining in our conversations, like she was eavesdropping. We paid by credit card ,but always leave our tip in cash . She questioned why we left the tip line blank asking “ did you forget this line here “? NO. I said my tip is on the table. Probably won’t be going back, she made us very uncomfortable.

I felt like I was eating my grandma’s cooking. I miss her food so much. I ate every bite and contemplated licking the plate.

We had an incredible experience at Second Brook Bar and Grill in Hooksett! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess/waitress, Andrea, who made us feel instantly welcome — like a warm hug. Her thoughtfulness, kindness, and joyful spirit truly made our day. She’s an absolute gem and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
The atmosphere is happy, cozy, and inviting, with comfy booths and just the right vibe for both sports fans and those of us who aren’t as into the game. It’s hard to find a place we love to eat in Hooksett, but this one is officially a favorite!
Let’s talk about the food… WOW. Hands down, the best coconut chicken tenders we’ve ever had — and we’re in the birthplace of the chicken tender, so that says a lot! Both of our meals were served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One of the best meals we’ve had all summer!
This is the perfect spot to enjoy a fantastic meal before heading to the movie theater next door. We’re already planning to come back — and we’ll be asking for Andrea again! She is the sweetest!🌟

My wife and I go to Second Brook almost every Friday for lunch, and it has truly become the highlight of our week. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The food is consistently fantastic — the rotating weekly specials always keep things interesting, but the Shepherd’s Pie Egg Rolls are an absolute must-try staple. We never skip them!
What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like a regular from day one. A special shoutout goes to Lisa, the Friday bartender, who is hands-down one of the best in the business. She’s attentive, hilarious, and always makes our Friday lunches feel like a celebration.
We recommend Second Brook to all our friends and family any chance we get. If you’re looking for a great spot in the Hooksett/Manchester area with amazing food, an upbeat vibe, and top-notch service — this is it. Don’t miss it!
