There were four of us... We got there about 11:30, for lunch. The hostess was very pleasant and escorted us to our table. Our server, was Emma and she was wonderful... Attentive, personable, professional and brought a welcoming nature to us. We were told that the Reuben was great so, two ordered that... My wife had the spinach salad with chicken... What they didn't finish there, came home... All very good. I had the haddock chowder and the egg roll special...I was not disappointed.

Met friends here for lunch. Food was good but…..the waitress was very annoying, hovering and joining in our conversations, like she was eavesdropping. We paid by credit card ,but always leave our tip in cash . She questioned why we left the tip line blank asking “ did you forget this line here “? NO. I said my tip is on the table. Probably won’t be going back, she made us very uncomfortable.

Fantastic bar service and food! The chicken tenders were the best I've ever had, by far. Every thing wr had was great.
I felt like I was eating my grandma’s cooking. I miss her food so much. I ate every bite and contemplated licking the plate.

We had an incredible experience at Second Brook Bar and Grill in Hooksett! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the sweetest hostess/waitress, Andrea, who made us feel instantly welcome — like a warm hug. Her thoughtfulness, kindness, and joyful spirit truly made our day. She’s an absolute gem and a shining example of what hospitality should be.
The atmosphere is happy, cozy, and inviting, with comfy booths and just the right vibe for both sports fans and those of us who aren’t as into the game. It’s hard to find a place we love to eat in Hooksett, but this one is officially a favorite!
Let’s talk about the food… WOW. Hands down, the best coconut chicken tenders we’ve ever had — and we’re in the birthplace of the chicken tender, so that says a lot! Both of our meals were served hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious. One of the best meals we’ve had all summer!
This is the perfect spot to enjoy a fantastic meal before heading to the movie theater next door. We’re already planning to come back — and we’ll be asking for Andrea again! She is the sweetest!🌟

My wife and I go to Second Brook almost every Friday for lunch, and it has truly become the highlight of our week. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and full of energy. The food is consistently fantastic — the rotating weekly specials always keep things interesting, but the Shepherd’s Pie Egg Rolls are an absolute must-try staple. We never skip them!
What really sets this place apart, though, is the staff. Everyone is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like a regular from day one. A special shoutout goes to Lisa, the Friday bartender, who is hands-down one of the best in the business. She’s attentive, hilarious, and always makes our Friday lunches feel like a celebration.
We recommend Second Brook to all our friends and family any chance we get. If you’re looking for a great spot in the Hooksett/Manchester area with amazing food, an upbeat vibe, and top-notch service — this is it. Don’t miss it!

First time there. With my friend and her 93 yr old mother. Long long wait for service and Food. Not many tables were full and not busy. Very short handed. Food was good. Personally won’t go back. I did go to restroom. Which was In the Huge bar area. Wow. What a big place. 93 yr old got pasta kids portion.with hot tea Friend got salad with chicken. And soda. I got Reuben sandwich. With water When 93 yr old said where’s the food. Wheres the waitress. Where’s my tea. Many times Took over an hour and half for us to order and get all items. Staff was friendly when we saw them Sixty dollars with tip.

What a joke of a business honestly. We came here Friday around 3pm. This was a meet up spot for a long time friend and I. Trying to get lunch and catch up after 15 years! Way to buzzkill it off the bat? I drove from Maine he drove from western NH. We are not from this town. I’ve been to 43 states in this country, NEVER had something like this happen. Beyond disrespectful and unprofessional. I get you’re at work and gotta check IDs but really? Story below….
We sit down, give our IDs and the bartender with my ID leaves a pretty snarky comment, didn’t think twice at first whatever. I’ve heard worse. Next ID my friend hands over, bartender proceeds to drop a second snarky comment “ive never heard of this town before??”
Okay? Read the birthday and move on lady? NO ONE wants your commentary
This is where I draw the line. My friends girlfriend hands her ID over as she is not from the U.S. we are all in our late 20s. Visibly closer to 30 than a teenager…. Takes her ID and goes “I’m gonna have to talk to manager about this”. Manager comes out with a book for reference. Then proceeds to say “oh we’re not sure”
Like are you actually kidding me??? We gave you our IDs we are all tattooed and grown adults. We go around the corner to other bar Chantillys with ZERO ISSUES AND GREAT FOOD! I recommend going over there!
If you hate out of towners so much. Put a sign up. Insane

We were on a road trip from MA to Canada with a stop in New Hampshire when we came across this gem by accident. Easy off/easy on from I93 and a stone throw from Route 3 this was a fabulous lunch stop and looked like a great choice for dinner too! Incredibly good burgers, sandwiches and various other fare. Everything we had was great. The service is perfect and the private label root beer was fabulous though the extensive craft beer list was quite tempting. We will be back the next time we are in the area.

I enjoyed my visit here. Andrea was the best! So friendly and warm and welcoming and patient with my indecisiveness. She also helped talk me through the options I was deciding on. The food was also really good. I had the friend buffalo balls with mashed potatoes and was talked into dessert so I did the chocolate peanut butter pie. The food definitely gives comfort food vibes and the restaurant atmosphere is nice and cozy as well. Definitely recommend this place and I would eat here again if/when I'm back in the area.
I consider myself to be sort of a chicken tender connoisseur - let me tell you these tenders were delicious & melted in my mouth - tenders to die for! The side of fresh beans was very tasty, and the fries did not disappoint. The atmosphere was great - place is very clean. The wait staff was awesome!
This place is a hidden gem. Great atmosphere, plenty of seating, wonderful service. But most importantly - the food!!! Incredible chicken tenders with a fresh side veggie and fries. Sent my dad to try it later in the week, and he agreed!!
Fun place, lovely bartender
Great drinks
Will be back
