We discovered Second Brook driving through the area on our way up north for the weekend. It was so good that we stopped by again on our way home.
The food was delicious, the meatloaf, meatball parmesan and tuna melt were amazing and the fries are a must have!
All of the drinks we had were tasty.
Service was good.
I'm happy that we discovered this gem and will definitely return!

First time going here, and it did not disappoint, the spinach artichoke dip was to die for, had a bacon cheese burger that was phenomenal, cooked just right and delicious. Our server Rebecca was wonderful, very attentive and friendly, will for sure go back.

We sat at the bar and were served by Lauren (sp?). Fantastic experience start to finish. My buddy ordered a Manhattan which he said was the best Manhattan he’s ever had (he’s in food service himself, so he’s discerning). We split the fried Buffalo chicken balls (you know those were amazing) and the pretzel bites to start. For entrees, we had the Brook burger, a Cobb salad, and the coconut chicken wrap (I had this and actually asked for it on a brioche bun instead cuz I hate wraps). All of it was delicious and cooked perfectly. My buddy and I upgraded our chips to fries and were impressed with how crispy the fries were while still being soft on the inside (a perfect fry imo). And the patrons were super friendly as well. We had three separate conversations with strangers and overheard many other people start talking to folks who were there alone. If I were a local, this would be my watering hole.

What a quaint little diner. We were greeted at the door after only a few moments wait, and were seated promptly. The initial prospect seemed bleak when the chips with the delightful artichoke dip were chewy and stale. Our lovely server quickly replaced them and all was well. We imbibed the house meatloaf and liver with onions. Both were delightful. However, I suggest requesting a cup of Au Jus for the liver. Both entrees were served with a rustic but flavorful mashed potato laced with a brilliant ground black pepper and the liver came with the most wonderfully seasoned summer squash and zucchini medley. It was herby, buttery and not over cooked. The owner delivered our meal herself and was a wonderful conversationalist. At the end of our meal we delved into a shared slice of what I consider to be the best carrot cake I have enjoyed in my many years.

I highly suggest Second Brook for a lovely dinner.

Delicious food with a lot of flavor, loved the appetizer selection, but what stood out for me was the amazing service. Bravo Andrea. They could teach a class in service. Very impressed. Suggestion: Fix the outside aesthetic because you would never know it’s this good passing by.

Hooksett is in dire need of new restaurants. So when we heard about this place through Facebook, we decided to try it.

4 of us went in on a Saturday night. It doesn’t look like much from outside, but when we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. They have a large dining room, with a bar in the back. We waited maybe 5 minutes for a table. When we were seated, our server came right over. She was personable and efficient. We all started with salads. For my entree, I had steak tips. They were perfectly cooked and very tender. They were not sweet like most steak tips are. While we were eating, thr owner Jeanie came over to say hello and tell us about the rewards program. My only complaint is that they have Pepsi products. Pepsi is never ok :)

We had a great time, and are excited to go back and try some more delicious food.

Since my first review, we’ve become regulars here and have started to bring friends. We especially like the trivia on Tuesday nights. Tonight we came in third place. My buffalo chicken sandwich was great; just the right amount of heat. Come early for trivia, it fills up quick
