We came here hoping for a late breakfast, but they only had lunch menus out (Granted it was almost noon) They did bring us a breakfast menu, and said half of it was available, while the other half with the pancakes and such is labeled "Not available at Night" which is kind of ambiguous. They clarified that night= after 11am.One waitress took our drink order right away, then we saw another party sat down, order their food, and receive it before anyone checked in to take our food order. Granted, this was about a 10 minute time span but we felt like we were doing something wrong, perhaps. I wondered if I was supposed to go to the counter but the other party was served promptly at their table throughout.We both ended up getting burgers and they were excellent. Throughout the meal it seemed like a different staff member popped up to check in on us as they did their rounds, a little unusual.Another strange thing is that my husband noticed the check had us listed as "D.U.M. table" which... Is not a good look no matter what its supposed to mean. Really I didn't care because I was satisfied with my meal and just wanted to go but it was the cherry on top that made me feel like I was doing something wrong or intruding or inconveniencing some of the staff then entire time I was here.I do my best to do my research before showing up places but I feel like I missed out on the secret handshake or whatever everyone else there knew how to do.4 stars though, because the food was good and I know running a small restaurant is hard, they stand out where they are, it was a good value, etc etc, and I'm sure they take care of their regulars but I don't know if I will be back personally. Try to roll with the punches, if you do drop in. You'll get a decent meal out of it at least.

I've been a loyal customer for years for the atmosphere and quality of the food. Today, however, I was saddened by the lack of professionalism from an older woman who had taken my order over the phone.When I called to place my order, it sounded busy, and the woman sounded frantic. I attempted to clarify my order, but she talked over me.I picked up my order, drove home, and I learned that my "plain Cesar wrap" had chicken. I understand that these things happen, and so I called and kindly brought it to their attention. Somone said they would make another wrap, so I drove back over. One of the employees said that they thought my wrap was the one on the counter but they would double-check.The older woman came out and berated me for ordering wrong. I calmly explained that I assumed that a "plain Cesar wrap," meant without the chicken, but she continued to over-talk me and argue with me, so I left the chicken wrap on the counter, took the plain wrap and left. As I walked out she continued to yell about reading the menu.It was an unfortunate and negative experience, and I will not be returning. While I understand that food service can be demanding, I expect the same respect that I give to others. I hope she will learn to channel her stress in more productive ways.

Absolutely love the food here. I travel up 89 to go to Vermont often and I stop here any chance I get. I have been for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Never had a less than amazing meal yet. Menu has many options and I find it hard to decide on which great meal I want every time I go. If I go on a Wednesday, it's pizza without hesitation. They have great dough and the pizzas are just fantastic. Burgers, sandwiches, salads, all amazing. Baked goods to die for. I always leave this place with a muffin or some cookies for the road. If you haven't tried it, do yourself a favor and go. Very convenient for people traveling on 95, easy on and off the highway to get to the restaurant.Parking: Only a half dozen spots in front of the restaurant but plenty of parking along the main road.

Every month, 3 of my dearest friends and I try to balance out the mostly male conversation that accompanies early Saturdays and every other bite of the delicious food Everyday Cafe offers. The local ambiance isn't just from the local blood that frequents this savory pub. Local artists also adorn the walls. And when I entered today Ashley L. smiled and asked "Tea and 3 coffees when your friends arrive?" I've never had a "usual" and I'm not from a small town, but when you want to feel at home, the Everyday Cafe offers that warmth with every aspect they offer. So if you are looking for a friendly staff, ask for Ashley L. If you are looking for mouthwatering food, or a warm atmosphere stop in. You won't be disappointed.

I will never return due to rudeness of staff. I paid before sitting down but was given a check at the end of the meal. When indicating I'd already paid (unfortunately didn't ask for copy of my receipt), I was told in no uncertain terms several times by the person I'd paid earlier that I had NOT paid. Thankfully, her colleague then went through the credit card receipts and found mine. No apologies, only a nasty look from the staff member who had erred. Moral--always get a receipt and don't eat at the Everday Cafe.
Great place to stop for breakfast!! 10/10 would come back again. Atmosphere was good, food was delicious, all around win.
